There are so many verses that God is the father of Jesus and not the family of Jesus or a group where Jesus is a member. Jesus was chosen as the most special person. All of us are sons of God. Jesus was glorified to be worshipped not as God but as His Son. Just to clarify my understanding. For INC Holy Ghost is the power of God.

I am a Catechist and Sacrament Coordinator in Australia, and I have NEVER heard anything as wonderful as how you have put together the teachings of our beautiful Church!! If it is the third person of the Trinity, why does it not know? A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. And the “Holy Ghost” is part of the Trinitarian chain. Similarly, on an earlier occasion Jesus had said: “No one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son.” (Luke 10:22) Once again, what about the “Holy Ghost”? If it is a conscious part of the “Godhead,” coequal with the Father and the Son, why does it not know? More than 20 years after Jesus died and ascended to heaven, the apostle Paul wrote: “‘For who has known the mind of the Lord [the Father] so as to instruct him?’ But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:16) How is it possible to have “the mind of Christ” and yet not know “the mind of the Lord”-if the Father and the Son are coequal? This doctrine was unknown to the Hebrew prophets and Christian apostles. The New Catholic Encyclopedia (1967 edition, Vol. XIV, p. 306) admits that “the doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught in the OT [Old Testament].” It also admits that the doctrine must be dated as from about three hundred and fifty years after the death of Jesus Christ. Fr. Chris and everybody involved in the presentation of this “Explaining the Faith” video-talk series on you tube and other social media, THANK YOU again for all that you do for us, the laity!!! PLEASE, include in your prayers TRISTAN HICKEN, my 14-Yr old grandson (turns 15-Yr old in September, 2022) He was “baptized” in a non-Catholic Christian church when he was 7 or 8 yrs old and recently told me his willingness to learn more about the Catholic faith (I brought him a few times to mass during my previous visits with them). For sure, he still have questions about why he could not receive our Lord in the Holy Eucharist. I’ve been praying for his conversion (among many others) and this is a big step! I sent him a video of one of these “Explaining the Faith” video-talk series as a start. So hard to decide which one to send him first and I decided to send him the one to understand who Jesus is… then about the Trinity. We plan on meeting to discuss any of his questions. (I recently moved closer to them). I’ll be calling several churches around here and figure out the best way for him to “officially” learn about our Catholic Faith so that he’d be accepted or baptized as Catholic (I am not sure what type of baptism he received. I heard there are some non-denominational churches whose baptisms are not valid so I have concerns about his baptism). He really needs your prayers and I’ll forever be indebted to your kindness if you prayed for him. Please! Again, thank you for this education that you are giving us, Fr Chris. I’m thankful to be here. Unbelievable, I normally watch an hour or so. These past weeks. I’ve watched, listening to your inspirational words of everything! It hits home, on all aspects. I shared a minute of one of your talks with my son (who is married, has 2 toddlers of his own). I now live alone. I pray the Rosary first thing in the morning. At Mark 13:32, Jesus Christ said: “But of that day or that hour [of God’s coming execution of judgment] no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” But if the Father and the Son are coequal, how could the Son be ignorant of things the Father knows? ‘Jesus had two natures,’ some will answer. ‘Here he is speaking as a man.’ And, yet, even if that were so, what about the “Holy Ghost”? If it is the third person of the Trinity, why does it not know? A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. And the “Holy Ghost” is part of the Trinitarian chain. Similarly, on an earlier occasion Jesus had said: “No one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son.” (Luke 10:22) Once again, what about the “Holy Ghost”? If it is a conscious part of the “Godhead,” coequal with the Father and the Son, why does it not know? More than 20 years after Jesus died and ascended to heaven, the apostle Paul wrote: “‘For who has known the mind of the Lord [the Father] so as to instruct him?’ But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:16) How is it possible to have “the mind of Christ” and yet not know “the mind of the Lord”-if the Father and the Son are coequal? This doctrine was unknown to the Hebrew prophets and Christian apostles. The New Catholic Encyclopedia (1967 edition, Vol. XIV, p. 306) admits that “the doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught in the OT [Old Testament].” It also admits that the doctrine must be dated as from about three hundred and fifty years after the death of Jesus Christ. Wow! Great discussion of the Trinity! Although I feel that this is truly a mystery, you have helped increase my understanding. Bless you Father. I am glad I found these videos, they have all been so informative. Many years ago I was aware of the Association of Marian Fathers because my Mom donated but I didn't really know anything else. When she passed away in 2001, I took great comfort in receiving many sympathy mass cards from her friends/relatives that came from your association. Thank you Fr. Alar for explaining the Trinity. I now know that the Trinity is present in the Consecration of the mass and I have a better understanding of the creed. I will watch this video again. I have really enjoy your classes. I am a retired RN. Your class for medical professionals answered many concerns I have with end of life issues. I am pro-life from conception to end of natural death. When my mother-in-law was dying she suffered for 11 days in a coma without any fluids. We could not understand what was keeping her a live. I prayed the Lord would take her home. A friend suggested that I say the Act of Contrition for her. After I prayed the Act of Contrition and the Guardian Angel Prayer, God took her home. God blesd you!
