Understanding the UAS and PRI Screen

Evaluations for HCBS can be confusing, especially if you are unsure in how to interpret them. The NYS Universal Assessment System (UAS) and Patient Review Instrument (PRI) and Screen can be very useful in determining a person’s needs and required level of care. This presentation is to build on your understanding of the purpose and process, and how RUGs, CAPS, NFLOC influence what services an individual may need when transitioning.
