having studied personality a little in college as part of my psychology major, we learned that the vast majority of people start out in some sort of sidedness or another and, it is ONLY by either doubling down on our top functions or working on your weaker functions to balance things out that we grow and/or evolve in life. worldly success typically lies in doubling down on your top functions. meanwhile, personal fulfillment typically lies in the active attempt to balance oneself out by bringing up your weaker functions to catch up with your saviors. regardless of the route they chose and one way or another, the VAST MAJORITY of people end up with a more balanced status among their functions when they reach maturity. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) - INTJ

Yeah, we start with one type and then go through multiple types as part of growing and changing. But it's not a guarantee and is very challenging - so some will remain one type, for others this process never stops and they can change even at 60

I think we need a whole explanatory interview just on the squirrel. Like, how exactly did Dave get the squirrel, where does it sleep, and is it jumping all over the house all the time? LOL

Ah the Se/Fi consume last. Seems like there is a strong aversion towards a negative "new experience" like ordering a new burger at a restaurant that tastes bad or getting a new shirt that fits weird. Not only is it being scared of that negative experience, but also taking time away from the blast production line that I need to get back to. For instance, the dishes need to be washed, and I "need" to go play my same video game, because then I won't have time later, or I need to make sure to check my bills and organize my receipts. It seems like a double wammy, where the potential for negative new experience + the time away from my "production" is the equation my head uses to justify skipping meals, not buying new clothes, not watching a new movie I might like, not getting new foods, the list goes on. Also great video!

I think it’s why we tend to double down on liquid nourishment at times 😂 but also I found a horchata plant based protein powder recently that I literally prefer over most foods at the moment. 😅😅

@@InternetLiJo I may need to look into that, because I definitely need to keep updating my diet 😖

It seems like aversion to Si. Si take tasting, touching, physical enjoyment seriously. Se don't like it. Se wants to collect Si experiences. It is the opposite for understanding how things work. Ni wants to dismantle things and rebuild them. To know how it works. Ne just wants an answer. Same with Fi and understanding emotions. Fi wants to go through the experience of a betrayal, break up, defeat,... To understand and learn from it. Fe just wants a quick solution of not feeling negative emotions. Ti seems to be about tricking people into believing their worldview. Because they do not understand emotional reality, so they make their own

@@jankom.7783can you explain me more the si vs. se experience? Lets say, i easily overconsume like most women, but learned to feel the material and how i feel, i selled 2/3 of my wardrobe and buy cashmere sweatshirts on sale. I love sport, i love hugs and a good feeling, but im not overcomfy. Im not very anxious, but also not very offensive. I am aware of my environment, but could also run against something. My memory is bad, but my brain saves memories. Im sensual, but impulsive. Shy, but physical too. I like new things, but not all the time. I hate repetition, but will repeat myself at times. So what do i have? Se or si cognition?

Really enjoyable to see 2 of my favorites INTJ talking/explaining together ^^ the last animals with their animals 😆🥰 I like your realism (to you both). I have Play last (Te Se), and funny enough I enjoy it, and even like these functions as much as my Ni. I even think sometimes, I waste time in my Savior Sleep Ni-Fi. And finally accepted that it's how the flow of my energy is. During the "boredom" phase, I recharge my Te.

I like this, a good discussion and discernment to clarify stuff. Something like this is needed about the social types as it relate to the OP system
@InternetLiJo11 ай бұрын
Socials are so new. I wanted to hate them At first but now I’m seeing what they’re tracking. I kind of don’t think their names represent what they are or what they’re tracking but it’s clear to me what that actually is now. Probably will have a video in the future on it.
@xtop-love729211 ай бұрын
That would be great, in my mind I see the socials as a abstract experience of some sort of emotional belonging, imported for our fulfilment and well-being. I dont understand have the unconscious are orientated at the socials, therefore I have no real understanding of what the social types means. So I would love a explanation when it's is ready in the future.

Hey lijo thank you very much for such concise video with Dave. You very well know what's important as others keep doing Fe with dave and shan and has no actual format which helps people. As it is scattered and pretty random. Your video with shan where you had format of dark reality of each demon was my gateway to the objective personality. And that video was recommended to me by KZbin. Thank you for giving actual value. Here are some ideas that you can ask when you have them next time. 1. Double activation of the second function and its human need for every type. For ex: IxxP CP. So they are stuck on the both axis. Actually sees the Di., fears and gets triggered by De, overdoes Oe and runs away from Oi. How can double activated 2nd function should be balanced? Same for ExxJ PC, ExxP CS, IxxJ SC. It activates the last function but at the same time individual forgets and completely neglects the 3rd function and also fears the last function. And ends up getting nowhere. 2. Type and socials incongruency

Oh my gosh😂😂😂 Oh Dave, I’m really sorry I shit out a bunch of emails on Si research… you should probably listen to them I went to college for 10 years in mostly science and I read through Lactation and nursing research now haha, but I processed how hard it is to just blast and play this. You are digging out the frontier of objective personality research and there’s no way you would get that perfect right away… I’m an idiot.. but actually, you do know that I believe hardcore in you, that’s why I sent them… you and Shan are so freaking NT smart. I want to help you fix your helmet before the jerks in the roller ball rink slam you against the wall. You are so ahead dude… let us fix the spaceship before it explodes over some stupid valve. I love this!!! 😅Lijo!!! Go go go go! Dave, enjoying being roasted haha. What the?!!! I truly thought that that squirrel was a metaphor since this is Ni land here… actual squirrel jumps on Dave…if you needed an ExFP in your life you didn’t have to turn to wildlife… actually maybe we are the squirrels of the humans? INTJ heaven 😂. On a more serious note… truly traumatized triggering can cause disassociation and just truly creates issues in brain wiring… just it’s not a fun thing to watch, or to experience humans breaking. But, if we can understand it more… than it can be a really caring thing for humanity, or the opposite…. Careful INTJs :). Don’t break them. Also, if my last animal play would engage then hey, me and Virsaviya do enough consuming for you all.

What does double-activated mean?
@arwuh11 ай бұрын
The OPS 'Animals' are two functions working together. If that animal is last, its functions are said to be 'single activated'. Example - Dave and Lindsay both have Se-Fi 'Consume' last, so Se and Fi are single activated for them (Se is activated by Play, Fi by Sleep).

Dave says he needs to Blast so hard that he gets bored with it and his team tells him that they got this. So... proceed from Blast to Play... to get to Consume... SBPC... cycle thru his animals.
