Rabbi how come as Christians we don’t really follow Jewish traditions, shouldn’t we since we too follow Yahweh? I grew up in a Catholic Church most my life and for the past three years I have branched off from “religion” to walk with GOD on my own in scripture learning about Yeshua in a more personal & intimate way. I recently stated to wonder why many Christians don’t seem to follow Judaism holy days, I feel like we are missing on ways that could be beneficial to our walk with God more closely. What is your opinion on this?

The only pathway to forgiveness is through repentance not sacrifice of any kind. G-d wants mercy not sacrifice. Repent and your sins are forgiven. But this is too simple for most people to accept.

I’ve never seen “Yom Kippur” in the Hebrew in the Torah. It reads “kippurim” and it appears in the plural form. It’s atonements. I don’t understand why everyone says it is the singular…?

According to the tanakh only goats were used for atonement of sins for the children of Israel. A lamb/goat could be used for passover using eithers blood for protection.

Jesus was not God, but the human son of God. He was in all points tempted like us, but without sin, and it was this which made him a perfect sacrifice. He had to be a man with our nature so that he could overcome where Adam failed. When he returns he will reign on earth, which is where his chosen ones will have their inheritance, as opposed to in heaven.
@MrGudMedOss Жыл бұрын
Jesus is both man and God.
@eddieyoung21046 ай бұрын
@@MrGudMedOss God is the one who Jesus calls his father. He also calls him the only true God in John 17:3. Jesus isn't this God, but his human son born of Mary. He now has immortality, or divine nature as Peter calls it. But, that doesn't make him the same as his father. Because he is still an immortalised man. Peter says that believers also will be partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4), but that doesn't make us God. It refers to being given immortality at Jesus' return, and made like him. 1 John 3:2 says, 'when he shall appear, we shall be like him'. Now, if Jesus is supposed to be part of a triune God, then what does that mean for us? Is it saying that we will be part of the Trinity? Or is it saying that just as Jesus was a man whom God made immortal, so the same will happen to us? Because Jesus is the firstborn among many brethren, as Romans 8:29 says. Meaning, he is one of the many brethren, and his disciples will be like him.
