i joined online MGP from forum ias, they also did same thing, i got so much disappointed that even after writing everything i am not getting marks. It was total waste of money. And when someone get selected they coax them to say good things about them. Thanks for bringing this out. That's why for essay evaluation you should never rely on any one coaching/evaluator but rather get it evaluated from atleast 3 to 4 different people and then try to gauge ur score by taking average

I called out my PSIR evaluator (not from any coaching) for giving low marks and faulty checking and in reply i got 2 paragraphs of cuss that i will never be able to clear this mains 2023.... Just imagine an evaluator who is probably 10 years old than me saying me this just because i called out his checking, before 2 months of mains... the industry can not tolerate truth and thats final. even if we call out, all we get is cuss in messages.

Just mind blowing explanation sir....this finally cleared my doubt that i had since long...Mridul shivhare sir told in many interviews that due to his bad health he left in all 170 marks paper ...just left...but whatever answers he attempted he did his best...then too after leaving answers for this huge marks he could make it....I was always doubtful that how was it even possible kyuki the questions he attempted would have in their best were marked only half of the total.... Now finally I got that...quality matters rather than quantity... Thank you so much bhaiya

New aspirants are most misguided cuz they believe that UPSC is another competitive exam like JEE, CAT, those exams are based on how much knowledge and practice you have done. While upsc mains is completely improvisation of the set of information you have accumulated in course of your preparation. Anything you know can be used in some form you just have to express it comprehensively yes there are some set 'format' of answer writing but the difference of selected and non selected is how much one can salvage from random set of information in his mind.

Bro just destoryed the whole industry with his voice... My first copy of F IAS they had given me 3 marks and 6.5 marks in 10 and 15 marks respectively; and I asked the evaluator this is my best answer i have addressed issues so he just simply said bhai maximum marks itne hi milte hai and I looked towards my friend with shock and asked the evaluator sir aise kaise so he said tum diagram bna do ek or marks mil jaayenge and later he told me that he was not selected by 5 marks and that was the last time I went for rechecking my copy because I somewhere knew that they'll give same argument.. The problem of our education system and the school is that the students since school days are conditioned such that they can't even raise a question towards the school authorities or even question a teacher about the topic related problems . As you grow old ,you grow with that mental condition, as aspirants pay lakhs of rupees to the coaching institution,the same aspirant can't question the same faculties. 6 minutes into the video and i already relate to each and every word, its been more than a month since i started my preparation. And i see that no coaching has put enough efforts to provide their students with what is really needed. They charge 1.5 lakhs for nothing. Its like a cultural shock for me coz im from engineering background, i have taken coachings for JEE, other engineering entrance exams. And that's how coachings should be run. I don't know why there's not a single coaching that has considered bringing changes in this system. This isn't helping. Im not very comfortable sharing whats actually wrong because i haven't seen others complaining about it. But seriously so disappointed. They are purposely making this 1 year journey a 6 year long process so they keep getting their 💵💵

Yes sir , it's completely a true , but the thing is , what's the solution, the market is full of such paid misguidance, every coaching institute irrespective of its geographical location, and irrespective of how much hyped founders they have, is having this fixed kind of business pattern, and it's also a fact that people who are in this journey since last 3-4 yrs now can sense this pattern's vagueness, but the question is , this video is an eye opener for us , or just a step to get into it, we are too greatfull to you sir, that you came up and spoke about it, many of us did not, but if you could provide a solution only then this video is worth watching, if it's just an attempt to create a havoc against the popular coaching, and then entering the same by creating an image of being a saviour of aspirant community, then this is of no use, because one day , the Naya bacha would too become like them, because when they were new bacha, they too had this attention, ki saviour bnenge sbke, but dheere dheere everyone becomes business oriented and end it doing up the same they criticised in beginning, if not exactly, misguidance of some other type. But I do have a question, does it also mean that no body in mains is writing all answers well, like not even toppers of any year? Otherwise atleast few should end up getting atleast 150 right? आंखों देखा हाल , मेरे एक मित्र ने इसी वर्ष 2023 के CSE MAINS के लिए *दृष्टि IAS के Mains Mentorship programme* को जॉइन किया जिसमे एकदम हूबहू ऐसा ही और यूं कहूं कि इससे भी बत्तर मूल्यांकन और मेंटरशिप देने का चलन चल रहा है । यहां मार्किंग एक ही प्रश्न पर 5th attempt वाले बच्चे को भी वही मिल रही है जो 2nd या 1st वाले को (यह बात आपसी चर्चा में ही सामने आई कि उनके उत्तरों की गुणवत्ता में ठीक ठाक अंतर होने के बावजूद उनके अंकों और मिले सुझावों आदि में नाममात्र का अंतर भी नहीं है) और पूछने पर कि क्या किया जाए कि अंक बढ़ें या क्यों ऐसी मार्किंग है , उत्तर मिलता है पेपर पूरा कीजिए , डायग्राम बनाइए फ्लो चार्ट बनाइए पॉइंट्स में उत्तर दीजिए ... मतलब वाकई में ,मज़ाक है हमारा करियर इनके लिए , इन्हें लगता है कि 200 - 300 बच्चों में 30 -35 तो सलेक्ट हो ही जाने हैं और उनसे तो पर्याप्त मार्केटिंग हो जाएगी तो क्या ही करना , अपनी दुकान चल रही है चलने दो ! यार शायरियां सुनाने और दार्शनिक बातें करने से UPSC नहीं होता! Once you get to know the nature of this industry you'll deeply feel betrayed.

Me eyes be like😮😳 Ankho dekha sach even before this, I would like to add one point as well, I am St Stephen's Graduate, I even got 10 Pointers in my College Exams, In particular my History and Eco were best, My professors always gave me very high marks, But at Drishti and Vision Evaluation, I got 3.5-4.5, I showed the copies to my professors, Intellectual St Stephen's Profs, And They said and I Quote "Ye kaun be***oof aise marks deta hai" Then I was relieved. I will be writing mains this year by the way!❤

during my 1st attempt, I took GS score ka mains test series, in one of the questions, i wrote a different answer based on my interpreation - still got 7.5 out of 15 but when i went on to dicuss my answer with their faculty - they straight away said my interpretation is wrong. when i showed them my marks - they started finding a middle path.

Don't get offended but u sound a bit negative always..like cribbing every time i see ur video...there is always a better way to put ur views and opinions ..no matter how serious the situation is....i believe u have much more knowledge than shivin but shivin is different from u ..he is always humble, grounded and always puts his thoughts and opinions in a better and more optimistic way with full of gratitude...thats why i like shivin a lot U are good too and doing a lot for aspirant community but every time coming with a firey video doesn't help ...and also no need to show victim mentality like 3000 ka mic and all those things...u are much more than this ..take this as a positive criticism...no need to get offended

Agreed I mean there are better ways to put your opinion out, though I agree what he’s trying to say but the way he puts it doesn’t sound right. He used the phrase muje kyu fark pdega like 5 times and then goes on to sound so pissed. I mean I do get it that he’s trying to do something good for the student community but sometimes it also sounds bit attention seeking and dramatic.

Totally agree with you. My cousin watched "naukri toh sirf ek hai baaki toh bas naukri ya h" . Became bhakt and just after 12th without even doing graduation enrolled in their coaching. I advised him to do good graduation then pursue as you must have some good clg as well as alternative. They just brainwashed him into buying everything. Now he is paying hefty fees all for cramming without developing his intellect and skills that would have developed had he gone for some good clg.

Sir one questions, 2023 m gs 3 questions almost repeated the I myself wrote 80% meeting demand of questions then why is there difference in Mark's in any one paper each year?
