A lot of pain going on in my life right now(both mental and physical) but I sat down to relax and almost cried with relief to see you posted today and it is immediately helping me to relax and let the hurt go for a while. It may not be something you thought about before but not only are your videos fun to watch from a crafter and fan point of view( Addams Family, Beetlejuice, fairy cottages, a time traveling space pirate shit, etc; but they are also a stress reliever & a respite from physical pain bringing a much needed spot of joy in life that we don't often get in this tumultuous world and I'm positive that I am not the only one here who feel the way that I do about it. Thank you Ara for you love for your craft, you willingness to share your joy and passions, and you precious joyful personality that shines through every video, and makes me both inspired, relaxed, laughing at your goofiness & fun spirit that is like watching a beloved friend every video you make. I can never help but feel peace and joy when I tune in and am able to be happy and laugh along with you through the trials in this life. You truly are an inspiration, whether you know it or not, and I know for a fact that everyone subbed here come back every week for not only the fun craft side of it, but also the warmth and almost "friends hanging out creating and laughing through the internet have a decompression moment" feel to your amazing content. Sorry if this is a long post. Just wanted to share how important your content is in an all around manner not just creative crafting!

@@BentleyHouseMinis I wanted to add a bashful emoji, but I couldn't find one!😅 I'm not used to anyone saying telling me that I can reach out.. I honestly don't quite know what to do with that.😒😔🤧🤗( or how I could;I just don't want to be a bother!) I'm always the one to help others come hell or high water to reach out and help others because I love them so much; but no one has ever said that I could reach out to them which doesn't to much bother me because I don't expect anything in return. I just want to lift others up while showing them how important and loved that they are. (Here I go, PLEASE forgive me) I'm not big on letting others be there for me. My main passion is being there for others in good times and bad and it gives me so much joy to let others know how loved and supported they are, but concerning myself, I've never given myself the same in return. I just always feel "less than" and instead focus my energy and love into others who desperately need compassion and friendship because I know how it feels to be alone and lost. I actually feel dumb for exceedingly ridiculous for posting this but, I've been told to not bottle up my feelings but to share what you are going though, which again is hard for me when I feel like I don't deserve it myself, but I love others PASSIONATELY and want to help them feel loved and not so alone!💜 I am an artist, creator, female McGiver(lol) and lover of all things beautiful, Gothic, Romantic, artistic, musical and wish to share my passions with others, but I always have "IMPOSTER SYNDROME" cripple me as I'm working on a KZbin video project or a business idea(I come from a family of entrepreneurs) however, I always trash it from feeling like it is a waste of time & no one would care anyway. I DESPERATELY want to create content and possibly/hopefully merchandise, etc. that would give peace and hope to others, but, I just don't know how to breakthrough my inferiority issues. Thanks again Ara! I am beyond humbled that you took the time to reply to my content! God bless you!💜

Everyone needs a listening ear every now and then! Especially the people that are always listening ears to everyone else😊 I don't know if you were looking for advice on getting started but... I always say that you have to make a few blah/cringe videos before you get into the swing of things and can really start making videos you like. I think making a 'perfect' video the first time often keeps people from trying at all. Believe me (who has several privated first videos😄) everyone starts out a little bumpy at first. Make some shorter videos over something you love or that you are passionate about and post them. On this gigantic platform I guarantee you will find like minded people that appreciate your art and your point of view! And then just keep creating and one day you will realize you are making more and more videos that you love! The best thing you can do is be your authentic self and make content that you love 💖 I would love to watch and support your first video! No pressure of course, but when you post it let me know! 💖Ara

The scope and breadth of your imagination is amazing (and possibly a bit, just a bit, frightening). Not sure if anyones suggested something already, but In my sculpture class we used foam like this an my Professor taught us a great way to make them a shell. If you mix some joint compound and Elmer's white glue you can smooth it onto the foam and let it dry to create a shell. I recommend about 3 coats of it, you kinda have to mess around with ratios but if you get it right and sand between you can get a beautiful smooth finish that loves paint.

I’m super behind! This hallway is fantastic! When I’ve painted with frog tape I didn’t need to seal the edges with anything, but I was using thicker paint. The other thing is to remove the tape before your paint is dry so the paint can’t peel. I’m not sure if that would be possible in this tight space. If so, I’d still start from the back. Anywaysssssss I’m sure you’ve found or will find what’s best for you. Again, super amazing hallway!! Your projects are always so creative and impressive!

To eliminate brush strokes the brush does matter, a very densely packed brush will help. I like natural but synthetic should work fine. If you use Mod Podge it’s very thick and that contributes to the texture. You could add some water to thin it, and apply thin coats. Use very fine steel wool in between to sand away any lines then wipe clean. I use a different sealer and add water to use through my spray gun. But I work on furniture so flaws are more noticeable. Wax is a great alternative especially on your furniture pieces. I use an all natural, no fumes wax. After 30 days it has cured and does not budge! You can decide how shiny you want it when buffing. You can also tint the wax by adding a bit of paint, it’s great to be able to custom make your own coloured wax. Make sure it’s non yellowing. You don’t have to wait 30 days, it’s ok to touch it after 24 hrs but it does take a full 30 to cure. You can also wax over the sealer but not the other way around.
