The design for possessed Papyrus is really cool. I love the idea of echo flowers all over Papyrus, speaking ghostly whispers from the riverperson. Decipherable orders or undecipherable whispers it doesn't matter. Love the idea of whispering coming from them. Maybe that's just my interpretation tho. To me the riverperson is the least solid in form out of the three. A full on ghost whereas Gaster is half and half and Flowey is the one all fully there.

I just noticed this but it is possible to beat the trio at the end of phase 3. Let me explain: At the end, where you go to the button and gaster grabs your soul, there are a few frames where the button is selected so, if you timed it right, you could stab them and get to LV 20

Shifty may be a reference to the fight about who controls the body between frisk and chars after all frisk still needs to reach level 20 in order to reawaken chara from the dead So chara maybe pushes frisk into killing after all the hate chara got consumed by witnessing all the monsters frisk has killed

One of the cool easter eggs which people probably missed, but US paps commenting on the current PLAYER was a sneaky detail, as all they can do is "predict". Considering how it changes per phase, it's cool to see them recognise their human off of their movements - Sans doesn't realise it during phase 1, as Chara deliberately attacks paps first to lower his guard, he doesn't expect to be attacked, and as so monologues. This explains the refilling healthbars and items, as it isn't the same PLAYER each phase.
