By the way to clear confusion, there are technically 2 versions of monster stats, the ones that the game uses when you check monsters with acting and the ones that are really used internally. This one uses the check descriptions of monsters to make it more accurate to what the game tells you is going on, but I dont think they're super different or ever make a difference in this mod tldr toby made stats really jank LOL thanks for watching!

Custom magic would be really cool, but my original idea is that flowey wants to impose an extra challenge on you. Since you’re a human, you can’t use magic as effectively and it’s really not helpful. This is also signified by not having a monster soul, just a white soul with the usual human soul orientation.

Things i want for this mod -Be able to toggle off and on if you want to copy a enemy, and a pacifist way to do it if you don't want to play genocide or neutral -Custom sprites for frisk with hats based on which enemy they copied, basically similar to how kirby works. -Custom magic based on which enemy is copied with some being more offensive and others support, for example whimsum could have a magic that allow you to create a barrier that protects against a certain amount of bullets, or froggit could have a magic that allow you to shoot flies on the enemies. -Some wack lore or easter egg explaining why the device exist in first place. This mod has a lot of potential i hope the developer continues working on it.

Pacifist and neutral are possible, as long as you end an encounter without fleeing, you get the stats (at the beginning, reverting to “Human” stats was a bug. You shouldn’t be able to turn into a “Human.” For lore, I see where you’re coming from, but I like the idea of it being a strange anomaly. My original idea for the flowey encounter was him wanting to see what would happen if you were forced to use the device. In the release version, more about my original ideas for the device will be revealed (more in neutral and pacifist endings). I might add some lore about its creation in sans’ basement or the true lab.

Custom sprites and especially magic attacks go against my original vision of the mod, but if people like them, I *may* look into it after the initial release. My lore for the human’s magic (supposed to be explained by toriel’s tutorial, but it’s not really upfront) is that magic takes time to master, and since the human is thrown into it, and since they’re *human* and not made of magic, it’s more of a hinderance.

Sans fight wasn't that surprising, we always knew Sans only dealt 1 damage per hit. He just deals 1 damage over and over and over repeatedly very quickly. 30,000 hp? Even if he hits you 500 times that's less than 2% hp gone, can barely even see it on the health bar.

Dude, sans does 1 damage a frame. With 30 frames a second, that's 30 DAMAGE a second, assuming you don't dodge. Sans hitting you 500 times leads to you being left with 15,000 hp. He's most definitely NOT killing you, but he would clear 50% of your hp in the process.

I have this idea for an au\at where a human falls into the underground relatively near hot lands and is critically injured from the fall. Alphys finds the human on her way to undynes house and upon discovering this human rushes back to her lab, upon examining the humans soul, she is shocked to see the soul is misshaped colorless and cracked. As the human begins to succumb to their injuries alphys in a blind panic (and slight morbid curiosity) rushes to inject the human with determination. Alphys ends up accidentally injecting too much determination causing the soul to violently shake, it suddenly stops, hovers over the humans body then shatters into pieces that turn to smoke. The human rises, but they look different, they look sickly and malnourished, their once orange hair now bleached, their eyes now way wider than usual and completely pitch black, and their smile, it stretched beyond their ears. Their voice paralyzes alphys in fear, this fear was different from before, it was wasn’t same kind of fear she felt when confronted by the reality of her past experimentations, *this* was primal and incomprehensible. Alphys dashes to the phone in hopes to call undyne, but it was the “human” that responded… “Thank you, Alphys. Thank you giving me the control and freedom that was taken from me on the surface, don’t worry this will absolutely be painless” No matter how hard undyne searched for Alphys, she couldn’t find her anywhere, not anywhere in the underground not even in her hidden lab and neither were the amalgamates to be seen either. Days go by and reports of monsters disappearing leaving no trace, no dust, nothing… These disappearances are often accompanied by sightings of the missing monsters, including Alphys, the first of many victims that have had their skin worn by the abomination.

If the cloning mod actually worked as intended then you should've had 19 attack since Flowey's bullets are enough to take you down to 1hp from 20 if you let them hit you. So having 5 ATK is kinda weak. You're also cloning one of the most powerful creatures in the entire game right off the bat, so this was highly disappointing.

He states that the stats the CHECK action show are different from what they actually are inside the game files. Once he copied whimsun, he had 5 atk, but he could still deal 4 damage or less. Flowey is a tutorial to show what you can do, of course he would be weak gameplay-wise, and the ATK stat does not represent the actual damage you do. Your pea-sized brain is the actual disappointment here.

He said old soul so he means Asriel not Flowey because flowey doesn't have a soul

we need something like this, but all monsters you kill are permenantly stored somewhere and u can pick and choose (as long as it isnt during fight, but it automatically switches to the one u most recently killed)
