to bluesheep: i hope you're planning on releasing this whole thing as a mod at some point along with the purple and split soul mechanics. would be fun to mess around with changing soul mechanics, adding an enemy to constantly attack, and other small tweaks you can make while going through this boss rush to see how far you can get. something like the options present in deltaruined kind of come to mind, just a way to tweak your run and change stuff up. maybe in between fights you could get rewarded with items as well, instead of just having a box with all of them? and while this is probably a lot more work, maybe giving some of the non-mercy fights a mercy win condition would make for a fun LV 1 challenge, where you go through the whole gauntlet as a pacifist. i know a lot of this would probably take some time but it would absolutely be fantastic to see happen. just idea brewing here, though!
