@@GenericKZbinUsername4048Yes, but even when they get disgusted by our actions, Chara never stops helping us in the genocide routes (you know, counting the monsters we still have to kill, stopping us from proceeding at certain points when we didn't have the correct kill count to continue the genocide route, etc.). Them just turning on us out of nowhere makes no sense and is not lore accurate.

The game is a malware, but not the type of malware you're thinking. It uses a Trojan virus to help trap the mouse and it's also why Gaster is outside the window itself.
