I'll admit, I was a little startled by the portrayal on my first listen, but enjoyed it the more I heard it. I've heard Flowey voices that are way higher (inherently matching the original laughter and "that's a wonderful idea" tones), with the "demonic" voice being way deeper by comparison. But Alex is able to pull off both without them sounding like two different people. It's both amazing and unsettling (in a good way).

Honestly my headcanon voice for Chara would either be Alyson Stoner. Kinda their Isabella voice but more low. Or Andrea Libmin with a mix of her pinkie pie and fluttershy voice.
