Despite this not being canon, the details and storytelling are insane! Chara has a scar on her shoulder and cut stockings! Signifying her past battle and/or evading attacks that just barely grazed her. A reminder of what can't be undone. Papyrus has a single scar on his cheekbone and the cut on Sans' jacket signifying the same as Chara, except Papyrus is clearly still alive. We are in PHASE 6. The original fight ends at phase 5 where he spares you. Clearly, he doesn't do that here. Or, Chara missed... She's still in fight mode and is actually starting to enjoy this prolonged skirmish, though is clearly getting a little desperate since she pulls out a FREAKING SCYTHE. Meanwhile Papyrus pulls out THE FREAKING MASTER SWORD AND IS NO LONGER FRICKING AROUND. The determination on his face is evident, but it's not a look to kill. No. It's the look of JUSTICE. That punishment WILL BE DONE!! After all; he doesn't want to hurt you...he just wants to teach you a lesson.

The first few seconds of the intro where you can hear a bell, I thought of it as like, Papyrus being ressurected after being killed by the Player. The upbeat after that represents his resolve and his determination to end the player once and for all and he will do anything in his power to kill you as he was given the chance to KILL you once again and he might not have a second chance. For the upbeat music with the bell chimes, I like to think of it as like, Papyrus' time to judge and punish you for the sins you have commited just like how Sans in the original game, we hear a bell chime once you reach him in the Judgement Hall. A little neat detail that I'd like to make up In some parts of the songs, the bells get overshadowed by the upbeat music. I think of it as Papyrus' goal being driven by anger (represented as the upbeat music) and for you to repent for the sins you cause (represented as the bells) All of these are not true, just a little thing that came in my head while listening
