Hence why he doesn't take just one soul, cross the border, and gather the rest. But monster kind needs hope so he keeps the lie of destroying the barrier and crushing humanity.

Ive been listening to this whenever Im playing Video Games(the ones with fighting), and my god, Its amazing to have this in the background, the power, the emotions, its so good. It in my opinion perfectly replicates the emotions of this fight from Undertale. A battle for life, were neither wants to really do it. But Frisk needs to go home, and Asgore has a duty as King.

Dust fills the room. You feel ASGORE's rage You killed toriel. You killed asriel. You killed everyone. Papyrus. Undyne. Mettaton. Sans. You killed them all. Papyrus offered you mercy. Undyne was being a true hero. Mettaton tried to have you join his "fanclub" for you to stop killing everyone. But you killed them all. Asgore would shatter your mercy bar but he knows you werent going to use it. Asgore smashes your ITEM bar instead. Time for a battle against a enraged king.

To be honest, in a way it has a good Kingdom Hearts and Lord of the Rings feel to it, if you listen to specific parts. Really sounds like it belongs in a movie or epic battle though. Truly a great piece of remaking a song. IF I can even CONSIDER it that. Keep it up!

This song has the same problem as "But the Earth Refused to Die" as the choir sounds very synthesized - more like a soundboard than a real choir. Perhaps having it play for longer durations would be better, and then replace the main melody with some kind of horn. But other than that, it's a fantastic remix. Edit: Also, I'd love to see all 6 of the human souls working together to fight you, and having to kill each one individually before being able to actually damage Asgore.
