I like how with some of the sprites in phase 2, if you look at Sans and Papyrus you can see how far gone Sans is compared to his brother. Papyrus is willing to fight alongside Sans, but really doesn't want to, and keeps looking over at Sans. Sans, on the other hand, is completely zoned-in on the human and basically never looks away, focused entirely on killing the human at any cost.

Papyrus wants to spare the human and have a peaceful life with his brother but also fight along side him. Sans just wants to get rid of the human at no cost whatsoever... But me? I save reality at the choosing over mercy and fight. By completely ripping sans attack in the mercy option.

If you pay attention, phase 5 kinda makes you think, they gave up, seeing how they look at each other with a giving look of sorrow, but then they come back strong realizing they need to fight in phase 6, i find that neat.

I love this. Every bit of it. The story, while not perfect, has a lot of emotion and I love the interactions between the brothers. Even the ending is somehow not just bitter, but sweet as well, as the brothers finally get to rest together, accepting their fates and letting their souls rest.

Let me just say that this is legendary. But also, think about it. It makes so much sense that they used the no more deals theme (remixed, but No More Deals nonetheless) for this phase. If you remember, Papyrus’s theme in Disbelief Phase 2 is “Megalo Strikes Back”, which is just a less serious, more well known Chara theme. No More Deals is an entire serious Chara Bossfight, which therefore shows how serious papyrus has become. Nice detail! Sorry if that made no sense! 😂

I forgot how truly amazing Help from the Void was, and I applaud you for giving me that experience once again! This video was just REALLY good all the way through, and even got me horribly confused when Phase 6 and Interstellar Enigma came- (This is all your fault, CaramelCupcakes /j) I just really love how faithful this is to Canon HFTV lore, all the way from the intro to even Phase 6! And oh. my. GOSH. Thank you for doing my work and making the settings theme yourself, lmao- But seriously, that one's so good, I'll just make it an official song for HFTV, hehe. Very interesting fact: in Phase 3 of Disbelief, Papyrus called Undyne and Sans, but they were just memories, and Snas was a memory that did not want to kill human, and Undyne was a memory that wanted to kill hunun. In this AU, Papyrus only called for Undyne, and he just wanted to kill a hamun. There is no mercy.
