I've had both of these songs stuck in my head for quite some time, so hearing this mashup is the perfect remedy for that, haha. Again, fantastic job, Tera! Like I said I'd do, I'm just going through these on the 2015-2016 playlist while doing a bit of writing for my co-author, and these seriously never fail to amaze me. I say that pretty much on all of these arrangements, but because it's true. :)

Holy GOD TERA. This is such a pleasure to listen to!! The layering is absolutely killing me--it's so clever, and just when I was knocking my head with the great polyphony at 0:50 and 1:15, you put in those amazing claps at 1:26! 1:40 is an amazing blend of flippin everything. The cover couldn't have come at a more perfect time with Hikki's return to the industry a little later next month--NICE WORK MANE

Lord of the Rings, Kingdom Hearts, Star Wars, possibly some Isekai. There's the recent gilded media movies, but also the BBC miniseries and even that little cartoon.

Some of the songs in undertale gave me such a KH vibe when covered right, but I didn't notice at first how well this one could work with Hikari. Great work! My only complaint, however, and this is true for a lot of single-instrument covers I listen to, is that it sounds good, but lacks a kind of body. The violin is a good instrument, but by itself, just doesn't deliver the emotional punch that really suits this kind of arrangement, I guess... And I'm no expert, but what I like in a mashup is being able to really blend two songs together, as if they were always meant to be played at the same time. I guess that's kind of hard to do on just a violin, but perhaps with a bit of help...

+Nick Real I know what you mean! I've struggled with my covers sounding "empty" for a while now. It's still a work in progress, but adding piano to fill the low end seems to help a lot. I'm also being nitpicky, but this isn't just violin! I'm also playing viola for a richer sound, and dont forget the vocals and body percussion! I am no orchestra, but I am doing my best with what I have~

TeraCMusic Pianos do seem to be the go-to option for filling in bits that are missing, by the looks... or the sounds, actually.
