Toby Fox secretly loves Kingdom Hearts?

For me whenever I heard Memories or His Theme I always thought of Simple and Clean or Dearly Beloved. I do feel that some of the music is inspired by Kingdom Hearts. Hell even the true pascifist ending feels ripped right out of a Kingdom Hearts game and thats not a bad thing.

I was CERTAIN that you were going to compare the undertale song "memory" and the kingdom hearts theme (simple and clean?). There are actually some other videos already from people who picked up on it. I agree with you, that these two songs also sound similar. It just shows that Toby Fox was inspired heavily by KH.

It's very, VERY likely that Toby played Kingdom Hearts and leaned heavily on it for inspiration...for both the pacifist run AND the genocide run.

There are some songs that sounds similar to each other with these two games....just not these two songs

Metro XLR99 Although he probably has taken inspirations from some past video games. I do happen to agree with you that the 2 themes do sound kinda similar, so I can see why you reached the conclusion that you did.
