I’ve just noticed something really interesting in this song, notice how this song feels more cheerful than megalovania while maintaining a feeling of hope in it, but I don’t think that’s for you, the player, it’s for Sans. This song represents hope for sans, that’s he’s finally going to beat you once and for all. This is easier to notice when you imagine yourself as sans, imagine you’re in a video game and you’re almost dying in the cutscene, but you’re given extraordinary powers right before it, this is the battle theme that would be playing in this new battle, one that would give hope to you, like it does to sans
