There's way too many channels for this to be considered "8-bit" the NES had 4 channels to work with Pulse 1+2, Triangle and Noise. As you can clearly see, each "instrument" on screen would be one channel. Not even the Famicom Disc System could handle this. It had one more audio channel. This is akin to 32bit music like Castlevania Symphony of the Night. TLDR: not all Chiptune music is 8-bit
