Undertale is a game made by Toby Fox which is similar to Deltarune which is also made by TobyFox. Currently we are waiting for Deltarune Chapter 3 but Chapter 2 is super cool as well as it has Spamton and Spamton NEO so we can be a BIG SHOT with W.D Gaster and Dr. Gaster with Chara. This video we see characters like Sans Papyrus Toriel Undyne and Alphys but we don't see much of Kris Susie Ralsei or Noelle or Queen but we do see Spamton. This isn't the Deltarune Snowgrave route though so it's not a weird route sadly and it's not Undertale Genocide with Chara and Flowey like with Kris and Noelle and Berdly. These are Undertale memes that are hilarious and funny. I also did not use the Deltarune OST or the Undertale Soundtrack in this video so don't expect Megalovania to appear or BIG SHOT.

6:53 the thing is, aside from the grillby's scene he also could have used ketchup or some other red substance to make you feel even worse for killing him. Perhaps he thought it would make you more likely to reset after seeing that he can "bleed". Before the newsletter with the Q&A with Papyrus the best theory for this was that Sans is a monster coming from the universe of Deltarune, as evidence we have his famous dialogues from the genocidal route and the fact that he bleeds, because until now we don't have any evidence that the monsters in the Deltarune universe have magic, in the Dark World we know that magic exists and that it can be used, however in the Light World we have nothing to prove its existence, on top of that the existence of a cemetery strengthens this theory, because the monsters in Undertale are not buried or anything like that because they are made entirely of magic and turn to dust when they die, so there is no need for burials (but there is still a tradition of throwing dust on something of that monster), since In Deltarune, if there is no magic, the monster's body cannot be made of dust alone, which means there is a need/tradition for them to be buried (and this would also explain why the monsters have more determination in this matter). I still believe that this is the best theory to follow, but due to that newsletter some things are in trouble, like the fact that Papyrus apparently has memories of living on the surface, but he still doesn't bleed

The innkeeper's child confirms that monsters don't have blood by asking Kris if it hurts to be made of it. "We don't have any evidence that the monsters in the Deltarune universe have magic" "In the Light World we have nothing to prove its existence" Only monsters supposedly "gain" magic in the dark world. Nobody is surprised by magic in the dark world, nobody struggles to cast a spell for the first time(with the notable exceptions of Snowgrave, Ultimateheal, and Susie's use of pacify in chapter 1. A spell that was never meant to be used, and two spells specifically learned from learning from or observing and copying someone else.), Noelle specifically describes Snowgrave as a spell she doesn't know, something she never does with her other spells, Berdly doesn't brag about his supposedly "newfound" abilities, and in one of the only instances of a darkner differentiating between the two types of Lightners, Ralsei, who is known to have meta knowledge, questions if humans are even able to ask people to use magic, showing that he expects all monsters to be capable of magic and all humans to be incapable of it. Kris, who is known to want to be more like their adoptive family, wants to learn how to use magic. "The existence of a cemetery strengthens this theory". There aren't corpses in the graves, they bury the items they spread the monster's dust on. This was implied in chapter 1 with the references to objects on the gravestones, and confirmed in chapter 2, where Father Alvin explicitly references the monster death rituals described in Undertale and states that they buried a hammer there. "This would also explain why the monsters have more determination" Monsters don't have more determination in Deltarune than in Undertale. "Papyrus apparently has memories of living on the surface" He said there was f*cking grass where he lived before Snowdin. That is literally it. There is grass in the underground. @@Missingno_Miner To begin with, I don't know if you say this just grammatically or in theory, in the first case English is not my native language so I may have written a thing or two wrong, while in the second case I start talking more. I remember this child's dialogue, but we also have to take into account that ghosts like Napstablook exist in this universe, so it could be a monster with a peculiar anatomy just like ghosts, in addition to that in the first chapter it is mentioned a lot by Lancer and even for Susie as "everyone bleeds", not to mention the sprites discarded from chapter 2 in which Susie is bleeding (the exact reason for this sprite is debatable, whether it is due to Toby Fox's mistake due to the laws of his world, or if it was something we weren't supposed to see, among other things...). Regarding magic, it still remains a very vague point, even though the cemetery point could be wrong (I don't remember these dialogues, I think I have to play the game again, after all it's been a while since I not the game) one thing that has been bothering me since chapter 1 (but it's not necessarily proof) is that while in Undertale we interact with Toriel's stove it is mentioned how new it looks, while in Deltarune cookies are always set on fire or other things near the stove or in the oven, but not in it itself (it could be something really silly but who knows), and another point that bothers me too is because in this universe we didn't have a war between monsters and humans and if the monsters didn't have magic this could really prevent there from being a war (I know that the real reason for the war is that monsters can absorb the souls of humans and become extremely powerful, but it could be that with them not having magic it could affect these factors), you still have good points, the only "problem" is that they depend a lot on subtext and interpretation and I say that, once again at no point in the game is it clearly said that monsters have or don't have magic, that is depending on how the next chapters go, I can easily imagine the game going either way. In this world, monsters have more determination, which is implied by the queen when she says that not all lightners have determination, but that thanks to this energy, Dark Fountains are made, so much so that Berdly possibly has enough determination to make a fountain. (and if what Spamton says with Hyperlink Blocked really is determination during the Weird/Snowgrave route, Noelle gains determination through LOVE). About Papyrus, firstly, the only thing underground is grass, in the ruins we still have some plants (but it would be impossible for the skeletons to have come from there for multiple reasons), in Waterfall and Hotland I don't think I need to mention the because there is no grass, so our best guess would be that they both came from the Capital (or New House) which as far as I remember we also don't have grass and even if you don't like the theory of Sans coming from another universe, we still do enough evidence for this, and if Toby Fox put ambiguity in all of this, it is precisely to leave us in doubt as to which option is the correct one, so it is and the other theories above continue to be possibilities.

My argument for Megalovania being Sans' theme is that it's like a mash up of the words 'megalomania' and 'vain,' which together can actually describe Sans' perspective pretty well. Sans tries to get in your head, make you rage, make you quit, and hopefully make you take a better path. But Sans also knows that the end of the day, you're in control, and it's only a matter of time before you kill him, rendering his entire struggle pointless. He fights to overpower your determination, but it's all in vain.

6:47 Okay here's my theory. Monsters don't bleed blood like humans but instead blood magic. It is stated that monsters have very little physical matter and a large amount of their bodies are made of magic. This means it can't be blood. We also see many other monsters who get slashed in the same way as Sans but don't have any red like Toriel and Undyne. My idea is that monsters might bleed magic based on the type of magic their trying to use which is why other monsters, who were mainly using pure magic to attack, don't have red. Sans might have bled red magic because of a variety of reason like the fact he was moving our soul around just before hand or because he was dodging, similar to the red soul. Another, much simpler explanation is that, because Chara was the one to land the hit and that they're constantly associated with red, the cut was red. Deltarune probably works in a similar way but maybe monsters have more of a physical form due to their lack of magic in the light world. Once again, monsters can't have blood in Deltarune either because of the line "does it hurt to be made of blood?". Sorry for the rant about my theory, I just wanted to share the idea. Also, loved the video!

The megalovania "leitmotif"(Using the term loosely) represents the concept of an epic boss battle, usually with tragic circumstances. That's how Toby has used it.

there’s actually a good point to megalovania being sans’ theme if you take a pretty big leap. we all probably know at this point that megalovania in UT is the third iteration of the track, and the second one (homestuck) is pretty important here. for those who don’t know: during a flash animation ([s] wake) the second version of megalovania plays as two characters go through an important part of their stories - vriska and aradia. it was actually commonly believed that the track was vriska’s theme (besides her main one) as she does a little funny and commits unaliving of another character, plus the “megalomaniac” fits her pretty well. then pesterquest came (an official vn from a couple of years ago) and funnily enough, you can hear megalovania (with vocals!) playing during ARADIA’S route, making it HER theme. so it basically means that back in the flash animation the track was tied to her - a relatively sane character who isn’t a megalomaniac in any way, shape or form. long story short: in megalovania, instead of being a song about a megalomaniac, its about someone FACING a megalomaniac - that being aradia vs bec noir and sans vs frisk/chara/the player. it mostly depends on whether toby wanted the track in UT to follow the same story/pattern as in HS.

Recently I saw a big undertale iceberg, that was more like a piece of art than information, and one entry was "the red soul doesn't stand for determination, it's rather golden like Flowey". I think it's more the result of people assuming, as an example, that any character with an obsession is autistic or that any character that looks masculine but acts feminine is trans... After a while, you just get tired of it and start to reject any new ideas... Examples that are obvious are things like people saying bridget from guilty gear isn't trans despite it being confirmed by the creators...

Alright. But we know monster food, and therefore monster ketchup, turns into magic when it is consumed (which is why food heals you). So even if Sans was a massive ketchup drinker, he wouldn't leak ketchup when cut. You can't say he just has some in his shirt or jacket because he also bleeds from the mouth when you attack him. Also the only time he drinks ketchup is the one time he tries pranking you with it, probably cause he knew it was the weirdest thing he could do in that moment. There is no evidence this skeleton drinks ketchup on a regular basis.
