@Freya Dargis It's someone whose mind mentally regresses to a younger age than how old they actually are. For example, an age regressor who is 18 can mentally turn into a 7 year old. This process is called little space (little is another word for age regressors) and it happens sometimes. Age regression is a coping mechanism for anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, or to cope with having a bad childhood by "starting all over and getting the chance to have the childhood they were meant to have, but didn't get when they were younger". Age regression is in no way shape or form inappropriate or nsfw in itself, yet some people like to make it that way for their own desires. The whole thing may sound weird, but it is a coping mechanism and helps a lot of people, some psychiatrists even recommend it to their clients. I'm not a professional, but if you want to know more, please read some articles about age regression by some kind of DOCTOR (mostly a psychiatrist) or ask someone who is an age regressor questions instead of an outsider. You can always ask people who personally know an age regressor or people who take care of them (these people are called caregivers).
