Inspired by Earthbound, before finishing the game we have the option to visit everyone one more time and see what they think about their future. I thought about splitting it up, but then this playthrough wouldn't have exactly twenty parts...

I can't help but the lack of a happy ending for Asriel is a huge black mark on an otherwise excellent ending. I keep going back to this and wishing there was something I could do to prevent him from going back to being a soulless flower.

+MrSeagull The idea is that you can't get a completely happy ending from this. Otherwise you'd be satisfied and never play again. I think.

***** But if you try to play again after finishing the "True ending", it asks you to leave the characters to their happy ending... I don't think there is much else to do after the true ending unless you go Genocide to get the rest of Flowey's story. I personally couldn't bring myself to play that way though.

+MrSeagull Me neither. Even though I've killed lots of things in other RPGs/MMOs, this game makes me feel guilty by killing someone and I just can't be cold-blooded killer... So I think I'll stick with this ending.

+MrSeagull I looked everywhere for what I thought was the obvious solution, to take Asriel's soul into Frisks if it can no longer support itself. He could have picked up his childhood through Frisk with his parents, granted both of them would probably have PTSD at this point. "MORE TEA DADDY?! :D"
