Well actually the canon was made with purpose to make dust suffer, because by LOGIC if frisk/player not coming back, means he is the most determined in this timeline. which means he got access to reset. So dust sans not able to just reset is bullshit

Because the reset would only take him to the moment when he became the most determined and that moment would be when he managed to defeat the human. So regardless of whether Dust has the reset or not, he is doomed to live for the rest of his life in a timeline where everyone he loves is dead by his own hands.

But if you still disagree, then answer me WHERE would be the other moment when Dust was most determined? If it was before he killed everyone, he would also end up forcibly bringing the human back.

Before the human has fallen in the underground, Flowey has tried hundreds of times to get the souls, but has never succeeded. one thing i really like about dust tale and its endings are that it shows nobody is above consequences, not even sans. even if sans wins he still killed everyone he loves and is still trapped underground forever he has no means of escape and even if he did he's the only monster left alive humans would never accept him. and in the other ending he has his data altered so that he's forced to be unable to remember he lost and is basically trapped in a new AND WORSE loop forced to be the one to dust his brother forever no matter who wins everyone loses. i really do like dust tale and the fact that nobody gets a happy ever after. not us and definitely not him.

too many au's try and make sans into this all powerful being but he's not the only reason he even trys to stop us is because his job is all he has left, and he waits until we are lvl 19 to do it. like you can dust all of the underground but as long as even a single monster is alive he will just let you pass even one lv off from 19 and he lets you walk free.

like he only ever really interacts with you if you are lv 19 if you are 18 or below he personally opens the gate to asgore without any sort of struggle. oh sure he will [absolutely] give you dirty looks and talk smack, but he already did that even when you were a pacifist so it really doesn't matter. imo he can take those dirty looks and stuff'em, they don't work on me anymore lmao.
