i like the idea the player was like "i have other shit i got to do today SANS, i still have to go shopping and pick up some more games i don't have TIME FOR THIS". and then just left for like AN hour to go do their chores, and then when they came back sans was gone because you know nightmare came, and dust assumed they weren't coming back and that he had won.

@@ชนะภัยอาษานอก i absolutely agree with you also if they could reset then how could they have died also I want to mention the only logical reason why frisk can reset is bc of the player as the player is the real determined person(the player is literally the person who allows frisk to return every time)and I see also a lot misinterpreted the player the player isn’t someone in undertale no it’s you and me the players are the people who played the game and the player is also only helps the characters to do there things with no reason of good or wrong and a lot say hey the player force frisk or Chara to genocide ( buddy do they know player isn’t forcing heck as a player you can go in pacifist route try to do a real attack to undyne but then frisk do fake attack so the player isn’t forcing but frisk isn’t necessarily happy but frisk doesn’t care enough to atleast even say no when frisk could literally do a fake instead of a real attack
