thats what alot of reacts aren't getting because they are kids. he IS doing this for a reason. his au is just him dying on repeat to toby, he doesn't even have a brother. [despite what the fans will tell you] but if you die outside your au there is no coming back. this isn't a fight......don't you get it? its a death wish....... ultra sans wants to fight someone strong and finally be put to rest. its basically assisted suicide, and seraphim is a "angel" so who better to help then that. ultra isn't stupid, he knows he can't win but by egging seraphim on so he will get pissed off he can finally end his life.

thats why though out the entire fight he's so cocky he just keeps goading him on, saying things that he KNOWS will piss off seraphim as a sans. "nice hit again but im still floating" "nice shot" he's just trying to end it as quickly as possible.

even mtt calls it in the fight, "he doesn't stand a chance" but ultra doesn't care he wants this to end.
