I feel like it should be mentioned that with Papyrus being older, Sans's constamt insistence that he's cool (because he is) would make as much sense as when he's presented as being older. Sans being older and calling Papyrus cool constantly, a sibling building their little sibling up after years of torment. Sans being young calling Papyrus cool constantly, a little brother looking up to their sibling. I imagen he even is rather respecting of Papyrus's pacifists nature

the ages were never specified but Toby did state in a twitter post that Sans is indeed the older sibling but people are allowed to create aus where the ages are reversed so they are allowed to have sans as the younger if they wish.
