To be fair in the Canon game, never did asriel or flowey call chara a sister or brother or sibling. He specifically refers to them as his best friend. And the only monsters to say they were siblings in the pacifist run weren't even born when chara was alive and the only way they'd know is that the info of chara and asriel spread through the years but they were never there so they can't make assumptions. The only one we can trust with info of chara is asriel/flowey. And he calls em his best friend so they don't consider each other siblings. Or atleast "didn't".
