@12:45 technically it was never your name chara, our name replaces yours. True you do exist but you refer to yourself as "a demon who comes when people call its name." you never actually call yourself chara you always call yourself by our name. I actually think you don't even exist until around end of snowdin or end of the ruins. Like from the time we as frisk fell onto a bed flowers until either the fight with toriel or paps you never really move frisk. [i don't know if it happens during the toriel fight as i never really pay attention and usally skip her dialog but it does definitely happen during papyrus fight.] I'm pretty sure you only exist on the geno route, and i know someone will bring up [but mah asriel final fight] 1 there is no guarantee they are helping us with azzy as they never speak up like they do on the geno-route, and 2 the "flash backs" could be us as the player seeing what asriel is remembering while fighting him. its not necessarily chara pulling the memories out of him. [it never even slightly hints at that.] and we do look like them. There is nothing that says chara is even in the pacifist route AT ALL, its mostly "fanon stuff and head canon/theories." Like if we heard them talk that's one thing but unlike geno route chara, pacifist chara never talks to us. That's why i think they are less "a soul of a dead kid" and "more a creature that was made physical by the monsters who suffering ended up summoning", that thing that looks like asriels memory of chara doesn't even remotely act the same [or even talk the same.] [its part of the reason why I think its gaster pretending to be chara, as it talks like gaster would with short bursts of talking followed by long pauses in the talking, and is even found in the same space that he exists in. {ie the void} ] That's another reason why i say gaster is "the anomaly" not "us". We don't destroy the timeline. The demon copy/fake chara does. Its probably a copy gaster's made. look at it this way they have the "erase button, and we don't." We have 0 access to that button even with hacking it into our data. like true we dust all of monster kind, but we never go any farther then that. We don't even get to the surface in geno route we just appear in the void. plus if you look at delterune we don't really have any say in if we are pulled into a world or not gaster tells us what to do and we are forced to accept it, like we cant even make our of vessel without gaster's permission. which is another reason i say he's the one destroying timelines not us after the dusting of flowey we don't really DO anything it doesn't even matter if we say "yes" to faker chara or "no" to them. our choices don't matter. they end up destroying everything regardless of what route we do as after the story and the credits we don't even see any other humans. so it could just be a bunch of rooms that are being made to look like actual places. i should also note that if you don't believe the stuff im saying, then think really hard how did gaster in deltarune get our soul? wouldn't that mean the geno route is the "canon ending to undertale." Granted if you do believe me then any ending for undertale could work as we were ALREADY in gaster's service before we even started playing. [it would also explain the survey program's "warning" of "accepting anything that happens" in deltarune. but I've rambled long enough. :/ ]

once again this is also just theories and looking at things in the games files, without the fandom behind them. i could go on and on about how gasters stats are all 6's or the fact we never even hear frisk speak. but like i said i've rambled long enough.
