Question: Why write the beginning of this in four? It seems a little odd to count it that way, I've never actually seen music for this until now and I always kind of assumed it was in three. I mean, it all sounds amazing regardless, huge fan of these arrangements.

1st_lieutenant_noguchi It was a mistake to make the video capture, I casually changed something in finale and the first part was put in 4/4. as finale only changes until the next change of measure, what follows is correct. I did not notice until it was already up. but if you download the score is in 3/4 as it should be.

@@MaxBerkowitzMinemax they could if people were accepting of them. I hate this controversy over saxophones only staying in jazz. Just look at composers like Ticheli. His songs like An American Elegy and Abracadabra were amazing and they had major saxophone points in them. Saxophones shouldn't be limited to just jazz, they can easily be an orchestral instrument.

Jos Flor Unfortunately Saxophone Parts are not normally included in symphonic orchestra pieces. You would be playing a horn part or something similar. Varies based on the composer and conductor.
