2:12 Oh my god. I already thought that this was the best part of the song, but the little countermelody that you added elevated it to a whole new level. This is a really good remix of the song man, absolutely did the OG composers justice (pun not intended).

the core theme is something i love, it gives the feeling that the core was a true successor to the steamworks

I'm glad you like that addition! I felt like it would be fitting given the story and it also naturally works quite well with the chords of Meltdown (likely intentionally) so I'm glad I managed to incorporate it here. Thank you for listening!

Steamworks is probably my favourite area in the game. The setting is amazing, everything is aesthetically pleasing to look at, the interactions with Ceroba are amazing, and of course the music is phenomenal. Turning the power on and hearing the arpeggios at the start of the song for the first time is such a special moment, and oh my gosh listening to this cover was almost like experiencing that all over again. It sounds just as epic, grand, and imposing as the original but also sounds more chill and relaxing. Everything is also so smooth, it was an absolute joy to listen to because of how pleasant it feels on my ears. I was absolutely entranced the whole way through, thank you for making this, it was a great listening experience!

Steamworks is definitely one of my favourite areas in the game for all the reasons you mentioned, and I think that moment of turning on the generator and hearing the music really stood out to everyone who’s played it, so I tried very hard to try to capture a similar feeling in this cover and I’m really glad to hear you found it pleasant to listen to! It means a lot to me.

The core if it was a whole area The dunes are the longest area having so many sections So the whole stuff with star and that it lasts less than a normal area and is similar in length to the core Both have a ruins snowdin dunes all together is the seize of hotland plus core and that leaves waterfall and steam works which are both normal length areas In general this game is the same length if not even longer than UNDERTALE can't wait until the year 2084 when a game for every soul is made to put together a legendary series UNDERTALE is a GOD among other games GREAT MUSIC GREAT CHARACTERS PLENTY OF CHALLENGE AND I i have to end this comment nobody ain't gonna read this 9999 KROMER FOR THOSE WHO DO THOUGH

Oh my god, thank you so much! I love Meltdown and was really inspired when making this cover, and it means SO much to me that you like it! i was actually quite self conscious about that part specifically, so I'm glad people like it! It inspires me to not shy away from more original ideas, even in covers. Meltdown & UTY in general are incredible and I never expected one of it's composers to actually see my cover so just thank you! This really makes my day haha.

I've been listening to this non-stop. You've made the best song of the OST even better. I love the sound of the chosen instrumentation here, it fits very well. And the countermelodies, the CORE leitmotif... just wonderful!

also love that you kept track of the timeline of events when making the animations ! (Ceroba and Clover coming in, Axis chasing them, the surfing ray coming to the duo, then we see them on it. After that Mo leaving and finnaly at the end starlo and Ed chasing Ceroba to stop her)

I wanted to try to tie the animation to the progression of the music to some extent, so having the animation represent progression through the timeline as the cover goes through different sections seemed like a pretty good way to do that.
