14:49 in this part it kinda feels like Gaster got involved (as we've seen at the beginning) which explains why there's glitching and visual distortion. Along with Insanity's theme here being played in a way that kinda reminds me of Gaster's theme (which is played with similar tone) So, as cringey as this may sound I guess 14:33 shows that everything was going as normal with Dust slowly winning like in the original encounter, but like Gaster said it's an experiment, so he somehow gave Insanity just that little push he needed to win. It's just my own way of intepretation, don't mind me

Oh my god this is amazing. The music is somehow even better than I expected, and the animations and spritework are stunning - I love how angry Dust looks at the end, as well as how *menacing* Insanity is. Insanity also winning in the end makes sense considering his canon abilities. Only thing that could be improved is the dialogue, but other than that - perfect. Keep up the amazing work.

Dust never canocially won. The original animation was made by a dust fanboy who just wanted dust to win and didnt care about the canon strength. People then just started to assume that that ending is canon, but it never was. The animation itself isnt canon, cause if it was, insanity would win. But dust winning in the animation is not, never was, and never will be the canon ending.

The animation only goes off of the story provided in the description of the music video. So yeah, dust won originally, as stupid as the reasons may be.

Finally, Insanity gets the respect he deserves. And yes, Insanity is canonically far stronger than dust. We don’t know for sure about mirrored insanity, but it’s safe to say he still wins. Even if he dies, when dust absorbs his EXP, he will become corrupted, essentially becoming a “host” for a new insanity, which in this case, would be “InsanityDust”.

So as quite a few people have pointed out before, insanity should've won from the very beginning, but I simply want to go into detail as to exactly why. 1. There is a LV difference between the two, unless dust actually defeated the human in this timeline, he is only LV 13. Insanity however is LV 20 (albeit in a artificial matter) 2. Dust is never said to gain the ability to save and load, however insanity specifically has this ability, even as far as reseting entirely, without the human there to out determine him. 3. Even if dust were to kill insanity, he would still lose as the artificial determination from insanity would corrupt him and make him the new insanity, so either way dust loses. So insanity is the clear Victor in this fight, either he wins or everyone loses.

Finally an actual canon take on insanity vs dust if we're going canon insanity takes it 100% .insanity not only has better close quarters combat than dust insanity has infinite stamina ( even though his body is weak his endless stamina makes up for it ) .canon dust sans just has lv he doesn't copy monsters abilities .canon dust sans never killed the human ( player ) while insanity kill chara over and over again sometimes they'll sit in the save screen finuring out ways on how to kill insanity
