Canon Chara: built like a stress ball, never met sans, never held a knife and lastly never killed someone. Ramon Chara: red eyes, yandere simulater, knows who sans even is, holds knife 24/7 and killed the whole underground even though frisk did that all.

Chara defender here, but not quite. Chara did kill at least one person in life...themselves. And they were planning to kill six humans, which, even for a good cause, is an awful thing to do. And on genocide route they give final blow to Sans, almost kill Asgore and kill Flowey, so it's not all "they've never killed anyone". But Chara neither started genocide nor are they responsible for most of the deaths. And why did fandom even decide their eyes were red? Aren't they shown with dark brown? I also believe narra Chara theory, so...despite the fact Chara probably had a knife, they describe Worn Dagger as "Perfect for cutting plants and vines". Doesn't sound evil to me

While they probably wanted to kill for the 6 souls, they could have played along with Asriel, who is implied to want to get them from the already dying. Those personal kills are done at LOVE 19 and 20 (extremely desensitized), and Flowey's does not happen unless you personally advance the last dialogue box. They are also shown to be drastically affected by even a little LV (Monster Kid and Dog Food). On the red eyes, no idea. Maybe it's the lack of official artwork due to Toby's ban on making merch of them, due to "what they represent", in the same vein as Kris, Susie and Noelle. Thanks for clarifying tho!

@@gabrote42 They could have, but they didn't. Or they probably wouldn't have gone to village with a dead body. A-and, it's honestly a little naive to hope people would let a monster gather the souls (like, seriously, they are at war). LOVE: agree, but not quite. I think it does affect them, but your "guidance" is what matters more. I think if it was LOVE, Chara's narration would change drastically on neutral routes, not just genocide. I think what matters here is the fact you literally make murder your goal and kind of teach them it's the reason for their existence, too. Oh, and I got the red eyes one. It's because of the soulless pacifist ending, with Frisk lying in bed, eyes red and imitating Chara's expression. But I've also seen an assumption Frisk has red eyes, since we always see Chara with brown and we never see Frisk's (plus it's not like Chara actually replaces them like in genocide, they have Frisk's skin colour and clothes), and I kinda like it

I really need a scene where Undine completely wrecks Toriel for being a dick to Asgore, she could have saved every child but she just decided it was more important not o show up, no monster would have been able to beat her, maybe just asgore, and he wouldn't have even tried it.
