About Fresh/the Sans in colorful clothing and shades, since you've asked about him: -Fresh, like Ink, doesn't have amotions or a soul -He is a parasite that takes over different sans bodies, the lore reason being that it's easier to take over skeleton bodies than organic ones. -Fresh has multiple bodies he is silmutaneously infecting; which means if one body dies, he has hundreds of backups that he can take over. Which explains why he's not scared of dying or everything that's currently going on. -The reason why Fresh's posession of Ink's body was so short is because Ink doesn't have a soul, and Fresh needs access to the monster's soul to take over their body. That is why in the corner of the screen, we see the paint vials filled with purple /fresh's magic color/ slowly empty themselves. He can only take over Ink through those, and once they run out, his grasp over him is gone. Note that Ink's lack of soul is what makes him so powerful among the many universes: he can't die without one. +On that same note, Fresh can't take over Error because of how unstable and I guess "glitched out" he is. It's their unique properties that lead many fans to believe Ink and Error are generally the strongest in the multiverse, as well as their roles as Protector and Destroyer. -Given that he doesn't have a soul, emotions, or an authentic body that's his, he fakes his emotions and claims he can be whoever he wants to be. That's why he tells Ink vials are not his style: he doesn't need them to pretend to feel, and it doesn't work for him the same way it does for Ink /who feels through universes and the essence of the soul of their creators put into them./ That's all about fresh I can think of! Of course he has his own AU and story, but that's as far as the fan interpretation that's relevent to Underverse goes. About Geno Sans: he's from the AU "Aftertale". Aftertale is an online Comic, so if you do want to watch it, I guess you'd want to look up the comic dub of it. It's finished, so it's got a movie video of it. Bit of a warning though, it's a really old comic, and it has a rough start; the drawings get better as the comic goes on, add to that the fact the dub of it on youtube is pretty low quality. If you can get through that, it's a pretty good story and twist on the original undertale, and it's pretty faithful. In it you can witness all of Geno's trauma and really what a mess his whole universe is before its good ending, the one we can witness in underverse. Since the whole Fatal Error thing might be confusing, here's a small run-down: Geno's story has a lot of outcomes, and one of them is Fatar Error. Which is caused by Error Sans himself. It's a really long story, but Error Sans himself, you know, the destroyer of AUs, is also an alternative outcome of Geno's story. He's the result of Aftertale's good ending, after Geno decided he wasn't satisfied with that good ending and started experimenting with determination. That's what the ending of 0.7 part2 is a nod to: Geno is suddenly questioning if this is the happy ending he was hoping for, so people who know are led to believe maybe this is this Geno's path to becoming Error. The thing is, there can only be one Error. Since this timeline, like the characters are saying, is separating itself from the main universe, that might mean Error will go with it in future episodes, and the main universe will need a replacement for Error. Shortstory, Fatal Error is the result of Error trying to destroy the loop of Geno's at its core, and failing to do so. Error's and Fatal Error's origins aren't in the aftertale comic, because it only focuses on its good ending, but it is part of another comic made by the creator of both Error and Geno. Fun side node, the creator of Error and Geno is also the creator of Fresh, who has nothing to do with their storyline. Sorry I know this might be a chore to read I'm just tryna help out since I've been in the UT AU community for so long

Ink doesn't have a soul. His paints are made from the creativity of creators, and drinking them provides him temporary emotions. He helps creators be inspired so that he can continue filling his vials, but prior to the events of underverse, a huge group of creators gave up on their aus and left the community. Gaster is a unique character with the power of a creator, so he can give ink creativity as well, but his creativity is only painful and one note. The different colors represent different emotions, and ink takes them to feel different things.

Adding to this, note the fact that the only remaining paint vial that Ink hasn't drunk yet is the blue vial, a color often associated with sadness. Since he didn't drink it, right now, Ink can't feel sad. Ink's origins aren't very important to get the gist of underverse, but it's important to note that his original universe was an unfinished AU abandoned by its creator, causing him to destroy his own soul and by extention his own emotions and world, since he was the only being with one. Now, he pulls from the AUs to feel, and because of his lack of a soul, he doesn't remember things very well. Hence why he has things noted down on his scarf to remember things. /adressed to Kang in case he reads this btw)

Geno is a an alternate timeline (but not alternate universe) version of sans that was the only surviving monster that gained determination to live after a genocide route left alone in the void once chara and the player destroy the world. The melted eye is from his determination being too much for his monster body and as his world slowly starts to glitch out the glitchyness over his eye is a result of that !! Fatal error (the alternate version of geno) is technically actually an alternate version of error since both error and fatal error are the future of geno. It’s just that fatal error stayed in the void longer without finding a way to escape, glitched out more, and got worse than error because of it

53:48 Killer is an original classic Undertale Sans (he said so in his introduction when talking to XChara) from a comic called "Something New" in wich he went into a murderous spree on his universe alongside Chara to feel anything, but a monster can't handle a humans soul and determination hence his target soul and the black tears he has. Ironically, the state of his soul makes him emotionless most of the time (Nightmare can control him an make him emotioneless whenever he gets to close to feeling tho) He is not created by Nightmare, but is his most loyal and recurrent minion, often goes under a lot of abuse by him. Despite it all, Killer is one of the only antagonistic Sans in the au's that get's to have a happy ending away from Nightmare and a genuine redemption in one of his timelines

I love Ink he is one of my favorite characters throughout the entire multiverse. Basically Ink is soulless, he can only feel emotions through the ink vials on his sash in which the ink is given to him through creators, who are often only voices within the multiverse (Error can supposedly hear the creators) But they are characterized as us humans who create the different AU's. So it's very Meta. Ink is one of the most meta characters. You will notice that he talked about in X tale how "You all" or the creators destroyed all their creations and thats why half of the multiverse is gone in the beginning of season 1. Creators gave up and that scares Ink a lot. One of his motivations is because he does not want to be forgotten, for the other creators to give up on their creations and since Ink can't technically die he would end up alone if everyone gave up and the multiverse became empty. This is why Ink also looked so freaked out when seeing the empty doodlesphere. XGaster was in a sense a creator as well and Ink was somewhat desperate to keep XGaster motivated to help keep giving Ink as well the viles he needs. This is just my personal opinion but Ink wasn't around during a lot of the really bad stuff that happened in X Tale so I don't think Ink knew exactly what was going on there. Thus when he felt the pain he was so surprised because he doesn't understand pain and didnt even realize how badly Chara and the others were feeling at the time. Because he was never able to know what pain is or understand it either, I think it was much easier for him to when he became emotionless fight Sans and the others (Also notice Ink was not around when XGaster killed Blue and Fell...so I'm not sure if he knows about that either) Only that he was playing a game with XGaster. He was being played. Ink is a pretty gray character in general because he does make questionable decisions. He did decide to play this game in order to feel something new. He said so during the monologue before the Error fight at the end of season 1. But I honestly believe he felt this was a good decision for the multiverse as a whole. It wouldn't go against the truce with error he believed and it would help the multiverse grow a bit. And if a few Universes needed to be sacrificed he was willing to do it because in the big scope of things the ends would justify the means. This is what Ink thought I believe. But that changed with his interaction with Fresh. Sorry for this long arse thing but I LOVE talking about Ink.

for confusion, the epictale group is heavily correlated with the Xtale group because the comic creator of Epictale and Xtale go on a sort of back and forth tangent, usually having eachothers characters in it or having fights, more specifically Xgaster and Epic Gaster, characters in Epictale are extremely badass considering Epic Sans literally makes his own kamehameha as a reference, and on top of that they break the fourth wall alot with rather adult like jokes in the comics sometimes, also Epic sans and Cross became friends in the past by fighting over who got to buy the last rubber chicken.

yeah as seen in the owners animation, this specific frisk or player went through hundreds of runs until their world basically broke and gave control to sans instead who is now its owner. what xgaster did was give everyone their memories back on all the runs, including all the genocide runs

The Universe the Player and OG Sans are from is actually a broken genocide route. Basically, it was a loop of Genocides until the code broke when Sans got the hit on Chara where he would've died. Since that wasn't supposed to happen, the timeline is a "Forced" Pacifist run. This is why XGaster is so focused on its "unique properties." Also About Fatal Error and Error, both are the "future" of Geno, its just that Error is the future where Geno managed to escape the "Save" screen from his world sooner than Fatal Error did. This is why its significant that Geno began to wonder about alternate universes, because his "alternates" are literally two very significant characters.
