Undyne vs XMettaton (Fights are labelled based on the actual fighters, not just puppets or those who cut the fight off, with nicknames of variants, and based on who initiated confrontation. Minor battles like XMettaton vs Fell!Asgore not included, each episode has a battle, which is why Ink vs Error is included from 0.1) Reasoning: X-Event!Chara vs Ink and Blueberry (Swap!Sans’s nickname) was when we found the identity of XTale. It is hard to argue that any other battle has more plot progression than this one. The choreography was great, and the objective of the battle was balanced between Nightmare’s orders, the purple vial macguffin, and XGaster’s plan. I also love how XGaster freed the infected UnderSwap characters and roasted XChara. It is also the only battle in UnderVerse that uses Overwrite fully (even though it’s just half Overwrite). Overwrite is also one of the best themes. Fatal’s battle upped the ante for Season 2 the most imo. We get Gaster being involved, and it’s the closest we see to XGaster fighting, and it only makes him look more invincible! I love the objective of the battle, with just trying to stop Ink from letting Cross escape. He could defeat Cross easily, but his objective makes it so he has to use him. I don’t care for Seg_Fault too much, but it synchronizes really well with the battle. Inking Mistake is the official name for the battle, not just the theme. It can’t simply be called Ink vs Error, because C!Chara also has valid involvement. It’s pretty much a tussle over the macguffin, while Error’s having fun. It’s just that the choreography in it isn’t as interesting as the top 2. Whenever Error enters the fray, he has PRESENCE. The theme fits the battle. Error vs Ink and Cross gave us the best showing of Error, and has my favorite theme, Mismatch. It caught us up perfectly on Error’s goals. 0.2 in general has some of the best fight choreography in any Undertale fandom battle (the best being Delta vs Cross imo). For the team battle, I like how Ink and Cross just chose for it to be a battle of pawns, and XGaster once again frees Edge (Fell!Sans’s nickname from CQ’s CPAU). Ink also would’ve died here if not for Classic. Killer’s battle with Cross elaborated more on their power scale and people learned stuff about the DreamTale bros. At least for the Killer vs Cross part, the choreography was great, and I like how while Cross could’ve fought better, XGaster just wanted to be done with Killer quickly and harmed Cross. Occisor is one of the worst themes, and didn’t synchronize. Edge vs Cross gave us the spectacle of Cross’s strength and his x-treme mode where he decimated Edge. What’s special about this battle is that 1. Cross was held back from how weak Classic’s soul is, and 2. Cross was hoping Edge would be nice. He had killed his universe, mentally fought with XChara over his body, and had been tired for a while, so he was hoping for some positive news, now that fate was in his own hands. Cream is a term coined by Jakei herself, she is for some reason the creator of that ship 😂. The battle had good melee choreography, and displayed the DreamTale bros.’s full strengths. Black Apple is mid, but it fit well. Nightmare just kinda felt foolish. Fresh!Ink vs Error was a lot of slamming around, but it is technically the highest caliber battle we’ve had in UnderVerse in regard to strength. Sweet Sweet Swagger is just a great theme, and I like how this battle is a countdown with the Fresh vials. Undyne vs XUndyne could’ve been more interesting if it also focused on XPapyrus vs Cross and Papyrus. The choreography of the battle was great though. It’s one where the objective is to just escape. Mettaton’s battle had good choreography, but very unbalanced and short. Insurrect is great though. Fresh vs Ink was a simple chase scene. Showed us their speeds. Sweet Sweet Swagger though. The 0.0 battle had turn-based choreography and is just pleasant on a small scale. Has the Megalovania remix. X-Event!Chara vs Classic and Dream vs Nightmare was just XGaster and Classic screwing over XChara. Has MegalOrchestra. The 0.1 battle is a short confrontation where those 2 are hesitant because of their truce. The 0.3 Part 1 battle is thanks to Core. After multiple beatdowns, mental battles, and being very tired, Cross is finally tucked into bed. Team Ink is what Jakei referred to them as. She refers to XTale as the XGang. Toriel vs XToriel was just fire dodgeball with a backhand. I like how XToriel set up the arena like Death from Puss in Boots. Undyne vs XMettaton was just Undyne stabbing him through the ground with no real influence.

@@nicogarci660 It is just Nightmare flinging Cross, Dream and Cross charging aimlessly, Dream’s bubble, then Cross somehow gets the idea to open up the reality (which I was able to calculate was at least a mile long, from where he started), which allows for Dream’s one-shot. As I said, good melee choreography, but that’s only in that one back-to-back part (3 seconds). It’s just a trump card battle, though Nightmare doesn’t feel like an actual combatant. Also I don’t know what you mean by that low, it’s above 55% of the battles (which is fittingly the hp Noelle is left with from the Thorn Ring, which represents LV in Roman numerals). The only thing I can say for its placement is that I deliberated it against Edge vs X-Event!Cross. That battle is short, but I love when characters are just so dominant in their battles, and the fight had character growth and plot development, whereas in this case, it happened before they stood against Nightmare. Also, it had “I am the X-Event” line. Animation from Nightmare’s battle is better tho. As for Black Apple, it is a lesser version of a Bowser theme. It sounds good thanks to the instruments, but the theme itself doesn’t have any rhythm to it. Compare that to themes like Bowser’s actual themes, Mismatch, Sweet Sweet Swagger, Cross Theme, and Overwrite, it just sounds like clouded loudness.
