For those who don't understand why they zoomed in on that capsule, here's the reason. You see, Ink doesn't have a soul, therefore he is emotionless and bloodthirsty. But with those capsules it gives him a temporary soul. Thing is.. that wasn't the right capsule. So now he is stuck being bloodthirsty until someone pins him down and injects the capsule into him. He usually takes the capsules right before he runs out, so they don't have that problem.
