the water scene was completely made from VFX !! checkout the mpc channel for the VFX breakdowns.

Prakash gupta my dad help make the film and not all of the water scenes were vfx they had a big pool that they called “the tank” and the had to film underwater for a long time to get the film right

@@wilson2455..FYI..there is a commercial dive rig/suit designed for this type of diving..it is called a JIM suit for 1 -one atmosphere diving..very heavy and hard to get into..thats why there are "tenders" that help get into the suit..like the ones helping her..Kristen deserves a lot of credit here.. she is strong and brave..this isnt easy..trust me..!!!..

My girlfriend and I actually really enjoyed this movie. Shes not a big fan of SciFi, but it really worked for her. I liked it because of the tension, and no jump scares. It definitely reminded me of a mix of The Abyss and Deep Star Six, two movies I grew up on as a kid.

Starting at around 4:30 you can see Kristen tapping the thumb of each hand with her fingers repetitively. Not sure if that's a concentration technique or if it's to help with anxiety. I read somewhere that she felt claustrophobic during filming.

It was all sculpted and created in foamed latex and them covered in slimes. Where would you even get something like that and more importantly, why don't you check your facts?

I really like this movie in terms of atmosphere and visuals. At the moment, there is not a single film on this topic with a good budget. I really like SOMA (2015) and maybe the creators of this movie were inspired by what happens there. The plot is definitely not comparable, but everything else they did was great. It's sad that the film collected little box office receipts and we definitely won't see a sequel. (There were hints of a sequel at the end) :ССС
