I had a little time before meeting up with my friend to look for a couple lost items at the beach. I hit the water and found gold... TWICE!

Well at least you’re helping to clean the ocean, of junk! And helping people to recover items that they lost😊

Watching you detect in the water actually makes me feel a little bit cooler. ;-) It's so hot over here that I won't even leave the house when the sun is out. If our water was peaceful like this, I'd be living out there.

I remember when I was living in Sarasota Forty-five years ago...I don't remember what beach I spent a lot of time on... One clear memory was I could walk nearly out of sight of the shore and the water didn't come any deeper than waist high... The water was so clear and the sand was pure white....I stopped going out so far when I saw a big ray jump out of the sand about two feet directly where I would have stepped on it... I've been zapped before by one I caught when I was fishing... Didn't want another dose of that!😩

I may be totally wrong, but the bracelet with the pearl on each end looks a David Yurman piece. If it is, it’s an expensive piece. Good luck to ya!! Keep up the great work🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼❤️❤️

Do you ever go to the Destin area or that northern part of florida? The water seems to be so beautiful there, it would be a nice place to do it. also, what is the significance of the loose sand vs hard sand? I hope I'm not asking too many questions....I think it's awesome what you do....I wonder how much time you spend doing this.
@DetectFlorida5 ай бұрын
I haven't been up that way yet. I'm hoping to get there one day soon. When you have loose sand, dense objects sink deeper, quicker. When you find hard packed sand, those dense objects(gold, platinum, silver) take much longer to sink, and the likelihood of finding them is better!

What does a wheat penny look like and the significance of them. Are they valuable
@DetectFloridaАй бұрын
They're not valuable, but the reverse side of the penny has a different design, featuring wheat stalks on it. The pennies are dated between 1909-1958
