The interwoven elements of „Lenny Penne“ are quite subtle, but they undeniably enhance the textural and especially the percussive depth. And of course, both share that entrancing refrain of „Vision, come on!“. Which makes me wonder , which track first? Did one somehow emerge from the other,‘ like how the alleged ‚remixes’ „Thing in a Book“ and „Most ‚‘ospitable“ were both somehow extracted from „Dark & Long“? And the most intriguing mystery of all: was Bamboo intended to be a segment of a „Riverrun“ EP? As released it would blend most effectively with „Pizza“ rather than „Lovely“ (the vibe is waaaay too cheerful for that one xD), but frankly its club-flavoured, four-on-the-floor approach and ita euphoric glow reminiscent of „Two Months Off“ just wouldn‘t fit in anywhere; it would really clash with the experimental approach that unifies the trilogy. If it were to appear on any album, „A Hundred Days Off“ seems the logical choice, but coexisting with „Two Months Off“ would make it feel redundant and the album feel less diverse. And that concludes today’s obsessive Underworld contemplation xD Thanks for sharing man!
