She was definitely holding back, you can tell in her demeanor as she gets up without being phased. It was clearly an act for her. She realized that it was more than just training once she felt the Nightshade, but by then too late.

Lol, comments people still thinking blood like it was a super saiyan power. Selene was mid rank vampire originally. Theres still high and elders rank. She didn't kill Viktor, only killing blows, Michael did everything. She didn't really killed Marcus too. She was only caught Marcus got slipped for a moment and quickly finish him off, and that also thanks to Michael for killing William and making a distraction. Also, Corvinus is not strong, in fact he physically weak. He got killed with one stab by Marcus. His potent blood only means immunity to certain death causes, that's why he needs an army and remain hidden in that ship. stop treating his blood like captain america's serum

She's several hundred years old, a highly trained and experienced death dealer, and she has the blood of Alexander Corvinus in her veins. He should've lasted about 10 seconds at best.

2:06 she cried, lol. looks like all of those acting like a badass was just a cover up for her true weak self. the movie can come up with her staying badass like after saying i'll kill you then dare him to pull the trigger and throwing any curses at him like other most movie female protagonist, but they decided to completely destroyed her charm as legendary vampire by making her saying i'll kill you first, then crying afterward as soon as Varga pointed a gun on her head. imagine if he really pulls the trigger here, it will be so humiliating that she will be remembered as most powerful vampire who begs for her life before dead. but i still loves it, though. most of the movies with female protagonist trying so hard to portrayed their protagonist as a complete invulnerable person who always kickass and don't need anyone's help especially from men. but here she is as a damsel in distress, and get rescued by a man with classic distress carry. there is nothing wrong with women being helpless sometimes. tbh, i'm surprised
