@@davidnavarro4821I’ve always wondered about these lyrics - they’re by far the most straightforward and unequivocal of Karl’s prolific poetry, as well as being unusually terse… so IMHO that indicates that these particular words are special and likely personal to him, eschewing his typical “wandering with a notebook and picking up stray phrases” Burroughs-esque cut-up approach. My own first guess was maybe marriage, but I think your idea is much more plausible; his daughter has been contributing additional & backing vocals since “Barbara”, which was released about 20 years after “A Hundred Days Off” - the timeline fits!

Awesome take on one of my fav Underworld tracks. This got me to sit up and take notice of the band seriously. Then I brought the single, then the album, then the whole back catalogue. Amazing work. Can this be downloaded anywhere. Paid for, obviously.

Even the show I went to had variations on a few songs like new lyrics and synth for dark train, a cool moon in the water opening which I managed to get on footage, some cool tempo changes during rez and fake outs during king of snake. Really good stuff live but only snippets of recording from that show are even out or were recorded and I got most of them on a playlist I made, but that's just the sad thing with dance music, you either get to see it or you don't. I'm an advocate for recording every show if possible especially with a deep improv band like underworld but it just doesn't happen. Karl and Rick don't hire photographers or videographers it's up to the concert people or fans. Like my show got a whole new live debut song and some imrpov and no recording but the next night they did tropico with a slightly different set list and it's got a full fan recording up.
