I saw them at the Bottom Line in NYC that same year. They were supporting their first US release on Portrait Records. It changed my musical life forever, to this day.

バイトしていた某家電量販店のオーディオコーナーで、経費で買われたＬＤがデモに使われていて、TRUTHにハマり、それがＦ１のテーマだと聞いて、Ｆ１にハマりましたね。ちょうどセナプロ対決と中嶋悟が活躍していた時期でした。 実はこのライヴの映像ソフトって不思議で、フルだと１時間超える。ただ当時片面ＬＤは１時間しか入らない。 だからうろ覚えだけど、最初はセレブレーション、アンエクスペクテッドラヴァー、ミス・ユー、パピヨン、ハーツ、トゥルース、リトル・マーメイドの７曲だった。 ところがＶＨＳで前後編３０分ずつ、という不思議なソフトをレンタル屋で見つけた。前編はセレブレーション、アンエクスペクテッドラヴァー、リッキンイット、後編はジャパニーズソウルブラザーズ、トゥルース、リトル・マーメイドだったと思う。 それからしばらく経って、この２つを合体させたＬＤが登場したが、パピヨンがカットされていた。 ２００５年にＤＶＤボックスが３つ発売されて、それまでＬＤしか無かったのが合計１２枚のＤＶＤになり、初めて完全版になった。 ただし、エンディングの曲目紹介テロップは最初のＬＤの時のままである。

Awesome. The Square tends to have that effect on people. I think that this concert is on one of the Anthology DVDs. I may buy it one of these days but it's pretty pricey.
