I think they should allow us to allocate a limited amount of points at the beginning to any attribute you want. To give your fighter a baseline of the type of fighter you want to build. Like 10 points in total to spend at the beginning but you could only spend max of 2 or 3 on a attribute like speed.

@@justsomedude1488 I’ve been enjoying it and tbh I was one of those people that said the game looks terrible during the beta but it plays pretty smooth. they have to fix the infighting though, this games infighting is actually really bad because they don’t have different animations for being in the pocket vs being at range so you’re throwing shots and just whiffing the entire time. Also the footwork could be a little better i think it’s too “free” like i get what they were going for with the simulation style but it does not play very good in a video game

Boxers shouldn't be THAT SLOW at any stage of the game. I suppose it could create an organic way for people to adjust to the speed of high level gameplay as they scale up. A better solution would be to shrink the speed disparity and widen the gap in power and accuracy.

idk if its just me but i feel like there has to be a import boxer feature added like from fight night champion. i like realistic career modes and i was never a fan of fighting fighers from different eras it just ruins immersion, no reason i should be able to fight canelo and sugar ray robinson in the same career 😭 cant just be me who thinks that

Actually a really great idea about choosing a background that gives you an advantage in one type of stats while keeping the others low. Its also realistic that people who become professional athletes usually have something they are naturally very talented at and then they train up the stuff they lacked. I assume the reason they dont do that in most sports games is because they want the player to have options of how they build their character instead of being semi locked-in from the start. Ironically, the best RPG games let players make those "build" decisions early on, i guess sports game devs are just scared of trying the concept out

Definitely has some promise. Once you can feint and throw smoother combinations it I’ll be over 🔥. Also some sort of progression system for the cafs in career mode will keep it fresh

I’m enjoying career mode so far. I started my fighter at 18 years of age and in middleweight. His overall was like 57. Now that he’s 35 years of age and when he’s sharp and in weight, he’s 96. 😂 All my focus was on vitality, stamina and speed. He’s also “Undisputed” but I did have some close calls with some bs like flash knockdowns and spammers. When he’s retired, I’ll start a new career but this time, in heavyweight and in the hardest difficulty. I know in the hardest difficulty, there’s gonna be some bs where they spam one hand punches. 😂

This is how I feel about every "My Career" mode in sports games, they all start you at such an unrealistic level of skill and you're always so slow. Like in NBA 2K your character is always 65 overall and is slower than the centers even when you start as a 6 foot point guard and in NHL you can start in the CHL a pro league but can only start as a 60 overall and you're genuinely so slow that a 6'9 defensive man could out skate your character That's why all my career modes need an option to choose what overall you want to start as especially if it's just an offline My Career mode or gameplay sliders that only effect the offline play if it has online connected to my career imo. Like in Fight Night Champion you can change the boxers speed, accuracy, toughness, and power. You could also change the refs awareness to penalties and fighter damage, as well as change how big the counter window is, the cpu's punch output and their offensive & defensive awareness.

That would have came across my email believe me that’s not true .

I think it is possible to cancel punches as I have noticed online when I throw DW'S right left power hook combo (right trigger circle followed by right trigger square) that there is sometime's a pause/delay on the Square input. Whether I have inadvertently cancelled the left power hook or just run out of stamina I cant figure.

They tried in Early Access, it glitched out pretty bad (for example, the ref would get in the camera's way). Until they fix the glitches, they aren't putting the ref back in.
