The mechanics of the game messed up like some of the sprites. I remember i spoke to one of the developers and he agreed with me on certain things. I think Game need to be put in construction because it Shouldn't take em long to fix it. They released it too soon but it's not too late to fix in my opinion. It's Small things that would make and break a game.

Here's my approach. For now. Single player only, my dude. No online playing. Having a lot of fun playing CPU on Undisputed level, and learning the different fight styles the Heavyweights come with. Outboxing Deontay's power punches. Countering Frazier's body punching. Outlasting Tommy Morrison's raging bull approach. I'm not touching online for a while. Until they get shit fixed.

Undisputed can be a great experience at times, I've had some great boxing matches. The Devs just break too much shit trying to "fix" things. It's got the bones for a solid game if they just fix the damn issues Side note, try that zoomed out camera LX..it's more enjoyable

Boxing fan here and like so many others I’ve been waiting/watching for a new boxing game since the final release of Fight Night Champion (2011). FNC set a high bar (loaded boxer roster, good venues, great career mode) and it was going to be tough for another game to take its place. This game doesn’t even come close. In the graphics dept it was kinda close but FNC still wins in that category (even 14yrs later). In every other aspect of a quality boxing game (general and specific) this game ABSOLUTELY sucks ass.

ive been playing this game since its release. its come along way. i have about 100 hours of playing time, i played my first online match and honestly it was horrific. power punch galore, accuracy issues. late hit sounds a whole mess. i enjoy playing against the computer and making a career mode. that is a pretty nice feature that hopefully they improve on. all in all its a good game but to play online i think it needs alot of work... also you said the game is all about hooks and flash knockouts, you could say that but depending on your boxing style changes the mechanics, so like muhammid ali is a hook master roy jones jr because of his stance you can land uppercuts with that philly shell type , the power punches arnt good for that type of fighter. so it does matter what style you are fighting with... The irony is, these are actually the best moments to play Undisputed as when it enters the end of life cycle it will be totally unplayable. While there are lots of cheesers as is, when it enters that EOL cycle the game will be unplayable by the amount of cheesers running rampart online. At it's very peak Undisputed only managed to be a 3/10 type of game, can't imagine how horrible it will be in 8 months when it receives it's final patch. 4-5 years of online hype shouldn't have ended like this.

my biggest con with this game isn’t tracking.. it’s the AI how it blatantly cheats. thirsty for hits and knocks outs to a point where they spam power shots more than online players. how it’ll only take a hit when your dazed to get knocked down but i need two combos and a power shot to knock them down when dazed🤦🏿‍♂️ how the ai gets a boost of stamina in crucial moments where it looks like you’re winning. how the ai is fast asf in dodging hits with a ducking animation we can’t do

That’s my biggest problem too. Maybe I’m just slow but I find it really hard to use the slip mechanic in this game. If I’m up against a fast fighter, I can only manage to use it successfully if they throw a telegraphed power shot. But the AI can use it absolutely perfectly. AI also seems to be able to just lean back and dodge straight shots, even if your standing in their face and throwing a straight right after they’ve leaned back. It’s stupid and also looks ridiculous. I honestly hate the game

For the amount of obvious bugs and balancing issues, this game needed way more patches in the amount of time it's been out. Just Spam the power overhand and you can get a KO. If they fixed the hit windows, and made jabs, body uppercuts, etc more fluid the game wouldn't be too bad. It's also odd because it seems like the people that weren't that struggled at fight night are good at undisputed, and people who were beasts at Fight Night struggle to adapt to undisputed. One thing I can't seem to understand is these guys must have never seen your FNC content. You mix up an array of punches, fight in & out perfectly, counter effectively but they want to throw that "you don't know boxing" jab out there. Pllllleeeeease! One of those other cats said you are using Marciano wrong. Basically saying that in Fight Night the fighters in the game didn't have their own fighting style (which they did).

I had a great back n forth fight that ended in a draw and got a loss for it, dude threw in the towel after I dropped him and they raised my hand at the end, then game me a loss for it lol. Not that records even matter in this game since if you play unranked it shows up as a ranked match anyway.

I’m pretty good at fight night champion, I beat it on champion level. And I’ve played the career mode plenty of times! In fight night 3 and 4! I’m playing the career mode on undisputed and I’m going up against boxers I’ve faced in the past, and I can’t win! I’m playing middle weight I try conserving my stamina, I get outboxed by the judges and lose to a decision! I go to the body first, nope! The cpu conserves his stamina! And opens up a. Can of whoop ass! I say okay let me go head only, okay I get him rocked, he runs away! Multiple times I use power punches only, one punch at a time, same thing! I use jab to the body nothing! And this is a mid tier fighter! The left hook seems to be the only decent punch in the entire game! Upper cuts are great, when they fuckin land. My guy has the power, but I run out of stamina, and then the punches hurt! I don’t want to jump on the band wagon, but at this point it’s pretty much arcade mode only, where you can have fun. The coaches are generic, and you have female Boxing coaches really???? Joe Frazier actually feels like Joe Frazier against Muhammad Ali, minus the hanging on to Frazier and clinching, I wish they would’ve had George Foreman. Tommy Morrison is better in this game, and they have Rocky Marciano, I wish they had Lennox Lewis, and the Klitsko brothers. I guess Mike and George wanted to much money? Mike Tyson should’ve been released with the Jake Paul fight, and added Logan Paul. But over all only being able to throw 5 punches as a middle weight is terrible.

Only a few minutes in, but I agree. Update 1.0 didn’t have most of the issues that we have now. Yeah the stun locking was egregious, and the haymaker spam was ridiculous without the proper stamina tax, but one thing I was noticing was the tracking and hit reg was on point. You couldn't just hold block and it did the rest for you. I noticed that you had to time you block with the thrown shot for maximum effectiveness while blocking. If you just held block, then shots would come in at different angles like in boxing IRL. Another thing is in this game, there's no true base punch power. Everything is solely reliant on haymakers and it shouldn't be. Remember how you would feel on FNC when you went up against a guy whose main goal was to land haymakers all fight long? You KNEW you were gonna make short work of him EASILY lol. Back to the base punch power, it's non existent tbh. Errol Spence for example, he's not a haymaker type fighter, but he throws his punches with intention on doing damage. You get hit with a couple of them, you wouldn't wanna stick around for the haymakers he'll throw. Marciano (you inspired me to start using him on FNC, thanks man lol) and Iron Mike, for example, on FNC Marciano and Tyson's base power is strong enough to the point he inflicts PLENTY of damage alone, the haymakers are icing on the cake. Get hit with 1 or 2 of those hooks they throw CONSECUTIVELY, you ready to damn near lay it down or find a way to stay out the way of them. You'll see your guy swelling up or blood is being slung around the ring. On Undisputed, Marciano just feels like he's missing his power. He just throws pitty pat punches until you throw haymakers. But let these Undisputed apologists tell it, "tHaTs ReAlIStIC bRo!" I got a video showing how the hit reg was on Update 1.0 and then after it and it's night and day bro. How the punches crept in the guard at different angles and the tracking made sense when using accurate fighters. Check it out when you get the chance and if you need to use it as an example for a vid, be my guest! 💯💯

Today I won 7 fights, took 1 loss. 4 Dec wins and 3 quits...all 7 counted as losses -35 points each. This is by far the worst I've ever seen for ranked in any game. 7:58 & 11:30 this is a tip and not just criticism before i start. But you gotta get into a habit of switching to loose movement when you get an opponent in trouble, so many players forget the feature exists (kinda as a counter for those tryhards in fight night that can backpedal around the ring to safety everytime you rock them), but this could've been a nice knockdown opportunity you missed out on. I notice it a lot when i see fight night elites complain or get frustrated in these *ROCKED* moments where they can't secure the knockdown or KO because their fighter is casually plodding toward the hurt opponent when they could've clicked loose movement, tilted analog stick toward the opponent to get a little dash or stride to the staggered opposition and close the curtains. @ 11:38 He was even trying to do it to you although his timing was terrible and he was desperately dashing and mashing for anything to hit while you were pretty much recovering/recovered. But GOOD work on that 1-hitter @ 12:13 Game is still buggy and jank AF though, not even arguing that. But it's still fun in little bits in pieces and appreciated as a new boxing game after EA left us high and dry in a desert for like a decade and a half..... and still going.

The problem you've got is, even if EA were bothered enough to release another Fight Night, it will just go down the same path as all their other sports franchises and will have that stupid RNG embedded into the coding, causing very similar issues. You'll end up going back to Fight Night Champion saying it was a much better game, I can almost guarantee it. The problem is this shitty RNG in the sports games which interferes and breaks the mechanics to make the games scrub friendly. You're not getting past that. I really feel like the days of honest gaming is well and truly over. Most games have RNG in them now, it's just a dynamic difficulty enabler or stifler, depending on what outcome the coding is set to achieve for said match.

It’s not easy to be good at defense in this game I think that’s the problem… clicking the left stick for slips that aren’t responsive at all times, timing the duck with 2 buttons, blocking on each side and body with 2 buttons… it’s easy to lean back and power punch which is why everyone is doing it and then calls you trash because you don’t want to play like that.. In 120 matches I have yet to be impressed with anyone’s defense, all I see is hook punching at every level

Undisputed is one of my favorite games I have had amazing fights with warriors far & wide. I think I got like 6 draws. Roy uppercut is sick is you weave by pressing analog r3 and counter. (Each fighter has special attributes that gives them advantages and disadvantages I don't think fight night had that....) Joe Calzaghe is amazing I only fight southpaw and it's a different experience for me I have fun win lose or draw the only thing I don't like is the glitchy stuff. Tip: If you cannot land a punch change the position of your lead foot from either outside of your opponent or inside of your opponent's foot.

I’m hearing to many complaint; Undisputed just doesn’t have what it takes to be a legitimate boxing game imho. I heard a rumor that ea is working on a new FN and is estimated to be finished around 2027. Hope this is true.

Ea sports has gone to the gutter as a whole. Why is there high expectations for fight night when we see the same madden every year, just saw another game make a comeback (cfb) and not have the best reception and on top of that they lost their independent licensing to the organization that governs the biggest sport in the world because they also rinse and repeat FIFA and goes ham on pushing virtual transactions in the game too

I usually land over 300 punches per 12 round fight playing against the Undisputed CPU. It just takes some time to learn the game. You can't play it like Fight Night.
