I agree with everything you said. I'm only 15 fights into my career 15-0-9KOs so I'm waiting to leave my Steam review, but the game is lacking in fun factor. I have trained and been a fan of combat sports for over 30 years and this game's A.I. has only gotten worse since early beta. I'm not an online player so I only checked in and fought a few matches every time they put out an update. I went about 10 and 4 in my only play. It felt to me like the game was being nerfed toward online play every time I tried it after an update. Rather it was Canelo's speed, Wilder's power, overall punch speed, damage, recovery, or stamina. It's turned into a game that will be a cheese fest. The reason people spam uppers to the body is because they nerfed hook speed and stamina. I'm fighting as a boxer-puncher, with the Philly shell, and speed over power, and my left hook to the body is my slowest punch. My left hook to the body comes out as slow as honey unless I lead with it. You can't really fight styles as much as you have to fight a system and find a way to cheese the game. Honestly, there are too many problems for me to go over here. I would have been happy with the first beta gameplay over this. I think entrances and create-a-fight options will be patched. BTY MLB The Show 21 or 22 has the best create-a-player suite in any video game. WWE 19 is a close second.

Thanks for the comment. I think it's quite clear with this being the first game they've made that they are having problems balancing things without breaking them for better or worse like you referenced with the hooks and uppercuts . Now it seems like they want to rush out the console release and without any major improvements in a short amount of time I don't see the mass amount of new players sticking around to long. Hopefully Sci can do something. Fingers crossed

The announcers don't know who you are in major matches and you never see your fighter with his belts...what a gimp if this is it...

I love everything about gonna really enjoy it for a sports career mode considering its competition not a complement since all sports careers suck wish it had cut scenes and more interactive characters you win a belt and it shows up after nobody even puts a belt on you for example

I agree with everything you said and your criticisms. But, the game is still in early access and there are things that they’ve stated they will have over the past two years from their videos, that they haven’t added just yet. They will definitely add more once the game releases. As of know, they are just giving us bits and pieces. Nobody’s knows how much they may have made changes as far as those ideas they wanted to implement, but I’m willing to bet everything that this isn’t how they’ll release it. They ought to know better than that.

I agree this isn't how the game will drop, but this is supposedly the last big update as they set there sights on full console release. If that truly is the case I think that suggests the full game will be out on all platforms by the end of the year or the start of 2025. personally I don't think that with in that timeline they are going to be able to fix all the problems the game currently has as well as implementing new features (judging by there progress in the one year of early access so far) and therefore I'm worried about the long term future of this title. I still want this game to succeed and I'm hoping they prove me wrong

You can lock ONE trait and have it with you even if you switch managers. And if you want to remove it you pay 1mil.

Yep. The game is pitiful tbh. I could understand if it was on your phone but for a pc/console game its not upto scratch. It needs alot of work.
