Please do not make the mistake to go somewhere else when you and your Raptors team have found a WINNING COMBINATION and now have a chance to win an NBA CHAMPIONSHIP. When you are winning or have a winning combination, you do not change anything because this means that all the pieces of the team are working to perfection. Take a look what is happening with the Warriors... Do not listen to so many commentators and others who may want for you to play somewhere else because of their opinion, interest or fantasy to see you playing with other players. Listen to your heart and decide for yourself but take in consideration that sometimes what we want personally is not necessarily what is the best for us. I'm a Hall of Fame ex-basketball player from Puerto Rico who played for the same team for 13 years and never regret my decision as I won 2 Championship and went to the semi finals in numerous occasions. You are a TERRIFIC PLAYER and you have great talented players also playing next to you. Be grateful and pay honors to the people or organizations who have been good to you and that will support you no matter what. It is usually the best place to be on. Idc what anyone says, The Spurs doctors and higher ups did Kawhi dirty. How you expect someone who got severely injured to be clear to play, but still in 50-70%. They didn’t give that man time to heal at all. I get that they didn’t want to get beaten down hard, but to rush him onto the court because the doctors cleared him but no one asked Kawhi if he can play efficiently was disrespectful. They didn’t care about Kawhi well being, they cared not to get swept or beaten down hard asf. With the wealth of info that's out there now, it tells that the Spurs did everything they could to placate him and he just wanted to go to L.A.. The man got 4 second opinions, after 3 that just says your fishing for a doctor to tell you want you want. Pop also said they would put him on IR or something and he kept saying no he would come back and play. All the information shows is he faked his injury and tried to get to L.A., if not how about you find some proof that he didn't.

Strmshadow84 I’m not going to tell you that you’re wrong at all. Everyone got their opinions on the matter, and this one is mines, while you got your opinion too. All I am saying is that they should have been prepared to go toe to toe with the Warriors without Kawhi but they didn’t. Plus yeah, it’s sketchy to find other doctors to tell you if you’re good or not to play, but seeing how Isiah played with Cleveland to now, I would be cautious to play too. I respect your view, but my view is why blame Kawhi for the loss when they had a second option in LA (who suppose to be option 1 anywho) and he didn’t deliver? That’s what I’m saying

And the Spurs said hey I'll just tell the media your done for the season, but he said "NO" he was going to come back. These are not opinions, it came out that the Spurs tried to protect him and do everything in their power to make sure he was good.

The Spurs were asking for a deal that was ridiculous for the Lakers. Then the Spurs found the Lakers' offers were "underwhelming". Now Kawhi is in Toronto. I think everything worked well for the Lakers so far. I believe the Lakers will offer something for Kawhi, but there is no guarantee that they will outbid the Clippers without hurting themselves in the process. I think the best chance to get Kawhi is to entice Kawhi in free agency because Kawhi will be the decision maker.

Kemane Hagerman id say trade for him now cause who knows Toronto might not ask that much for him. And if it goes to Free Agency that’s really risky. The way I see it Lakers got a 40% chance of getting him. Then the Clippers got a 40% chance and Toronto got 20%. It was reported yesterday( by Woj) that he is warming up to Toronto. That’s a red flag but not a serious one. But if he does leave Toronto for one of the LA teams, Kahwi is a low key guy. Joining the Lakers where all the drama and attention ( Lebron and Lavar, plus the fact they’re the Lakers) could be a deterrent. The Clippers have all the perks of being in LA but without all the drama and attention. And Jerry West is a very influential guy, the same guy that snagged KD to the Warriors. So if I’m the Lakers I put together a decent package, nothing crazy and try and get Kawhi.

We are on the same page. The Lakers will likely do that, but the Raptors might be all in on this season and keep Kawhi as a rental to compete for a championship.
