I remember Davante told The Ringer in an interview "A quarterback doesn't make me. ... I make me. And I can do it consistently at this level". That quote was after playing a season with Carr at QB where Davante was voted to the All Pro Team and Pro Bowl and lead all WR in TD's that season with Carr. After Carr was bounced, Davante stats were the worst since his rookie year and of course no Pro Bowl or All-Pro selections. It's funny, the drop off in production that Davante had last year is what NFL analysts expected to happen when he left Rodgers to play with Carr...it shows you that Carr is not a bad QB at all...and that Davante is slightly wrong in that above quote, and that he does need at minimum a QB like Carr for him to be consistent at a All-Pro level.

This Netflix Receiver series was pretty boring. It proved to me how much the NFL is dependent on the Chiefs for excitement. Huge miss, massive miss, monstrous miss not begging and kissing Travis Kelce's feet to had him on this show. I can't over estimate how much better this series would've been with Kelce. Winning back to back Superbowls and then the entire world would've watched the Taylor Swift aspect. Billion dollar loss not having Travis.
