Yesterday the Carolina Panthers cut Baker Mayfield after the quarterback requested a release from the team. According to Adam Schefter, it’s expected that Baker is picked up off of waivers today. When asked about the now available quarterback, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said quote, “we look into everything, but that would surprise me right now.” Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe react to Baker’s release & predict his next landing spot with teams like the Los Angeles Rams among those interested.
