Thank you for pointing that reference to Boccanera! I couldn't figure out what Suma Oriental reminded me of. Also, about Click Song, it's interesting because we tested it at work and half of the team are of African origin and it works very differently on black skin! One of the girls was saying it reminded her of the oil blend her mother used to put in her hair (as you may know, many African cultures use incense or oils to scent their hair). I found that incredibly interesting considering the idea behind the fragrance. :)

Ok I just got Une Nuit Nomad's Memory Hotel. Wow! This is a soft spice and so classy! I love the Carnation note a ton. I suspect Clove chemical to give Carnation-like presence. I wonder what smelling Carnation by itself is like. The tobacco is so well blended and smooth and this frag is a touch sweet. I am also really loving my decant of Iris Torrfie by Guerlain. I rate this in top 3 on Guerlain's very long house list IMO. I have Dior Homme Intense and this is even better to me. I like the coffee touch added. Une Nuit Nomad's Melt My Heart cologne has to be the best chocolate frag out there without a doubt. I got the decant and put it on daily the past week and am getting more. I saw the full bottle of Melt My Heart going for $600 for 50ml !! Ouch but I think it is worth every penny. I really love the iris note in this. It is very buttery and blends so well. I do get the Absinthe note and love this too. The Absinthe hangs around for about an hour. The other notes kind of pull it away to an aromatic and fresh path that is quite appealing.

Hi Marcelo, thanks for the videos on Une Nuit Nomade, I really liked them! I find buying the discovery sets really useful (among other things, this is really very well made) and the only risk (at least for me, in the case of Une Nuit Nomade), is that you really want to buy not just one, not two but at least 5 or 6 fragrances in full size bottles! Luckily the price range is quite accessible. Keep it up!

This was so fun thank you! My husband loved ambre Kandahar for the strong tobacco he perceived. Jardins de Misfah for the rose and loved Mr vetiver for the opening especially. I loved bohemian soul for the citrus to woods. I loved that it wasn’t linear. In the States we don’t get click song but man we really both appreciated love at first sight l. Reminded me of my moms lilac trees. I have a strong like for nothing but sea and sky but have santal basmati by another French house in that same category so would not purchase that one just yet…. Such a fun date night activity. Thx for all your work. ❤

Excellent initiative, this “sniff-along-with-me” series. Enjoyed both of them. My set had Love @ 1st sight instead of Click Song, but that was added separately together with Rose America, Fleur des Fleurs and Murmure des Dieux. I liked Click Song the best, but it is maybe not the right season for it here. Had a full wear of Mr. Vetiver which was a like, not a love. Looking for a cold evening now, to Click Sing like there is no tomorrow 😉

Second five were as spectacular as the first five. Sun Bleached, Click Song and Sugar Leather are my favorites here. This exercise has really been a Masterclass. If we were to do this on a live with maybe a smaller number of scents it would be special. But this way works well. Well done mate, keep them coming it’s a terrific way to explore a line.👍👍👍

i dont know if it has veen brought up here but for those of u who got the discovery set do you find the projection weak? even with 4 to 5 sprays i dont get a strong projection or sillage. does the actual bottle perform better?

Great to hear from you and appreciate you reaching out @RW3871. Two parts to your question: One I find that overall (across all brands) that the small samples don't have massive projection etc. Plus where I normally spray 3 times (with a large bottle) I normally spray up to 7-8 times with the small samples as the spread of perfume can vary depending on the sample bottle and spray nozzle. For me the sample is more of an indicator that I like the scent on my skin; and worthy for me to either go into store and now spray with a bottle or buy it (if they don't have the brand in Australia) Two The actual fragrance's from Une Nuit Nomade perform quite well. I took time to share my experience with these fragrance's in these 2 episodes and find that my experience is very similar to everyone else. Naturally there are some in the range that have great performance (ie Sugar Leather) and others that are softer (ie Nothing but Sea & Sky) Hope that helps! Thanks again for reaching out @RW3871

As you know it isn't cheap so I really need to be sure before purchasing.. It's hot here in Singapore so I've tried the ones that perform well in our humidity.. Mr Vetiver, Memory Motel and Sun Bleached have been great! I actually found out about this brand after reading up about Suma Oriental but I've been waiting for a special occasion in the evening to try it on as I know it's quite intense! Very late to the party due to blocked shnozz, 😷but …. Adore Click Song, Mr Vetiver ( after 15, it got a bit too masculine, but Id love it on hubby)and Sugar leather Suma…(you’re going to laugh)love on card yet on my skin it smells like I’ve just walked into my mum’s smoked meat shed, after you said woody/camphor, that absolutely made sense , on the dry down on skin , still same. Sun bleached is better on my skin than Sea and Sky; very fresh. Marcelo; do you get a hint of Tony Iommi with Click Song? Much more gentler but it takes me there. I had Love at First Sight in my sample set and I love it, I’m really appreciating Bergamot after following many scents you’ve led me to🙏🏻 Top Passionfruit, Bergamot Heart Lilacs,Acacias,Ylang Ylang Base Cashmeron, Ambroxan Definite loves from the two sessions Jardins de Misfah, Click Song,Sugar Leather , Sun Bleached ( loved the opening and dry down )and Love at First Sight.
