I'm looking to pickup a bigger saw. 462 or 661? Any suggestions ?
@hobbyoftheday40174 жыл бұрын
Really depends on the trees you cut, there isn't a lot the 462 can't do. And much lighter than 661
@NewEnglandLogger8603 жыл бұрын
I 100% agree with Hobby's statement 7 months later after using both saws relatively 2 years each , i can completely agree now that i know how to sharpen much more efficiently and have the felling head on my Timberpro so i mostly just buck limb and sometimes top trees (Unless they are monsters or heavy directional felling) the MS462 is the best bang for the buck, HOWEVER if you have cash laying around to blow the 500i has had some really kick ass reviews from the industry. I am EXTREMELY sorry for the late response my life took some wild ups and downs and i lost ambition to keep up with the channel. But im back! Thanks for your support.

Whats ur favorite part of falling trees
@NewEnglandLogger8604 жыл бұрын
Chris DeVay the adrenaline rush, doesn’t matter how many trees you cut just being humble around something that can kill you all day every day puts me at peace
@chrisdevay15334 жыл бұрын
That was my favorite part as well always being humble of what can happen out there and being careful every time I had a tree hit me in my shoulder it broke my clavicle and broke my back in 5 spots ouch it hurts to this day

Ran a friend of mine's last summer. Amazing power for the weight 💪 Didn't you have a timberpro with a felling head custom built so you could leave the saw in the pickup and work in a climate controlled cab?
@NewEnglandLogger8604 жыл бұрын
It's amazing I feel like I am cheating!
@heavywreckoning78644 жыл бұрын
Problem is, you pick up the 660 and it feels like a boat anchor
@NewEnglandLogger8604 жыл бұрын
Heavy Wreckoning yeah we still have it but on line trees or when my old man is chomping at the bit while I’m bucking what I cut down I drop some nice ones for the videos!
