I feel where you’re coming from about being thankful for life. Last February, I developed LPR (silent acid reflux). I ate like crap too beforehand and was on a medicine I believe messed my stomach up. It’s taught me you have to enjoy the littlest things in life because you never know when something is going to happen to you. I also feel like a burden because I have to eat little meals couple of hours. I also have trouble swallowing so I’m pretty limited on food options. I also can’t talk for a long time without my throat hurting. I just take it one day at a time and I’m thankful for what I can eat. It definitely made me clean up my diet as well.
