was there any reason the BMS wasn't used for this test?

Actually there is a bms on the neg output of the battery, do make note of the sensing cables on all 4 cells which gets connected to the bms. (blocked by the amp meter)

@@iangoh7289 ok my mistake, Thats a tiny little BMS system much more interested now. Thank you for responding.

@@stuartmurphy5138 no problems mate, the bms is approx size of a 5 inch phone. Just as thick. Cheers.

bms not big enough to handle 180 amps,only used for charging i bet
@iangoh72894 жыл бұрын
@@chrissmith-ck8cn quite funny.... u can't even see the BMS yet you make comments like this. For the records, discharge Is running Via the BMS, and we have a FB group with thousands of Australians with daily discussion on the Cells and BMS, cell eq, etc... that we supply. ( Just that the AMP meter is in the way in this video) looking at it again...your comment doesn't make sense ... Why doesn't the Negative wire just run to the Inverter instead of bending down... and 35mm2 cable doest bend 180 degrees easily! ....I recommend u to analyze the video again. cheers.

I’d be curious about this also... it would’ve told the whole story if a bmv712 or similar was fitted... he’s asking a lot of those cells, I don’t think they’d make 2500 cycles if that was the norm.

Using the clamp meter display and the video time you could get a reasonably good estimate yourself
